I had a rough start with it in the beginning. It was very stubborn. But then I got it working and it is doing well and easier to use. It even opened my salsa jar which I think is a vary hard lid to remove. I hope it continues to work well since I had so much problems in the beginning. I'm glad right now the little arms are working good together. I didn't want to have to return it.

Frankly, I was not sure if this product worked as described. I’ve purchased several other products to remove lids from jars that haven’t worked as well as as described. This jar opener actually worked better than I thought it would. Easy to use right out of the box. My mother-in-law who usually struggles with new products was able to use this opener the first time she tried.

No instructions. Package difficult to open. Takes forever for it to clamp around the jar lid as battery power is slow. Weak motor. Won't shut off after use. Only good for glass jars. On a plastic mayo jar it smashed the plastic in and wouldn't stop or twist the lid. With so much battery use may have to replace batteries too often. It does open glass jars but at the end can be a hassle to lift the top off. Too pricey for what you get. It's a strange looking device. This would be a good invention but needs a lot of work. May return it if it keeps acting up.

I have RA and this was such a wonderful opener when I have a flare up. I can't open jars without it. Items like this gives me opportunity to do things on my own. It is nice to feel useful again!

This works well on all jars I've tried except for some Great Value (Walmart's brand) ones. One of the plastic feet on my previous jar opener of the same type, but not the same brand, fell off and I couldn't get it to stay on after that; so, I figured I'd try this one. My previous one worked on all jars I tried including the Great Value ones; this one picks and chooses. As far as I can tell, it's no better than my previous one other than the fact that the plastic feet are still attached; and it's much worse when it comes to what it will open.

Best solution for stuck lids that we've found so far. Bought this as a replacement for a 10 year old (?) version that finally died. We've tried tapping lids (denting with knife handle), gripping with rubber gloves, silicone gloves, rubber discs, running hot water over the lid, but this is the most successful method. It IS a device that has eccentricities however. Sometimes when you press the button to start, it won't actually begin unless you hold the button for about 10 seconds. You do have to hold the device on the lid until it has tightened enough not to fall off, then I just hold the jar so it doesn't jump or fall over when the lid pops (the device makes it a little top heavy). This gadget is great for my mom's arthritis and saves my wrist. Takes a bit of space to store, but it's nice to have when you have a stuck lid.

this is so fun!!! it's amazing!!! and works fantastically - i use it on all size jars even tho only large size jars are impossible for me to open - i use it on all jars bec its so fun to use - yay robots!!!!

Egal für welche Glasgröße! Passt sich an. Öffnet das Glas super gut und schnell. Gläser gehen dadurch nicht kaputt.
