I do not know how many keyboard covers I have already purchased but I can say without a doubt that this cover is WELL WORTH the price and the slower shipping. The others slip around feel weird, restrict typing, and just plain do not hold up. I finally gave up and quit using them. I am typing on this one now and I cannot even tell it is there! The keyboard lighting is great through the cover. I cannot speak to the durability of this cover because I just received it but it fits SO WELL, and it feels SO GOOD that I am already in love with it. I am certain it will hold up better because it is also made of better material. It molds well to the keyboard and stays in place. THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT TO BUY.

The first laptop I ever owned became absolutely thrashed due to me not knowing how to take care of it 😅 So this time around, I’ve been extra careful! Which is precisely why and how I discovered the GhostCover. I purchased my first cover back in 2020 (5 years ago at the time of writing this). As you can tell from the first photo, I was definitely due for a replacement! 😆 But my goodness.. I am SO grateful I had this cover on! Can you imagine what my keyboard would look like if the cover hadn’t taken that beating for it?! Thanks to the cover, my keyboard still looks brand spankin new 🙌🏽 FEEL: Now, some people may not like the feel of it when typing (my boyfriend, for one lol), but not only have I totally gotten used to it, but I actually *like* the feeling, and the sound! Typing is feels and sounds softer with the cover on. It’s not bulky or rigid. It’s very soft and flexible and moves with the keys easily. FIT: This cover fits perfectly. The only time it would try to slip off is when I would be trying to blow off debris and some of the air would lift the cover off the keys a little bit. But other than that, it doesn’t budge. Also, it really is paper-thin. One of the ways I mutilated my previous laptop was from the oils from my skin sitting on the keys and then transferring to the screen when closed. Over time, the screen started looking as though it was really badly “stained.” I was concerned the same thing would happen with my current laptop. I do believe the cover is thin enough to not even touch the screen when closed; however, just to be EXTRA careful, I purchased some very thin microfiber cloths (specifically designed for this purpose) to lay on top of my keyboard before closing it. That way, the screen doesn’t come into contact with any oils trapped on the keys/cover. It has worked like a charm — my screen still looks brand new too 😇 I will forever be a customer of theirs! In fact, I think I might purchase some additional protective products from them right now!

I use my MacBook Air at my dining table to log nutrition info about my meals, so I wanted a keyboard cover to keep crumbs off and keep keys from getting sticky. First I tried a silicone cover - that worked fine but it left some residue on the keys, made a mark on the screen (easy to remove), and eventually got loose and had a wrinkle in the middle. I also read that Apple doesn't recommend a keyboard cover for laptops. So I searched for a thin cover and found this GhostCover. What a difference! Super thin, very strong, great fit, and does not feel sticky. I like it so much I'm going to get one for my work laptop too.

I bought this after using a cheaper keyboard cover I purchased with a MacBook Air case a few months back. Never thought I would ever use a keyboard cover, but after remembering what happened to my other MacBook I had, as well as my desire to keep my new MacBook Air as protected as possible, I started using it and it was great! Fast forward to a few weeks ago, and noticed my old keyboard cover had left some "slick" spots on keys and was just, in general, falling apart and looking ragged. Did some research, stumbled upon this cover, and took a chance! Took a day or two to get used to the product, but beyond that, it's been a serviceable keyboard cover. It's not as "transparent" as it appears and there is a noticeable difference between the keys that are covered and the fingerprint ID button that isn't, but can that really be avoided? Probably not. The cover has stayed in place pretty well, too, considering how often I open and close my MacBook. Mine does seem to attract a bit of dust, but taking five seconds to clean it off isn't a huge hassle. Was also shipped securely.

Although Apple says not to use keyboard protectors I use this all the time. It just saves getting grunge in the keyboard. Also, once you get used to it, I actually prefer typing with this on. In comparison, typing without is more "clacky" and the keys feel a bit slippery whereas this cover gives a slight "traction" for want of a better word. Heeding Apple's dire warnings about not using them, however, I remove it when closing the laptop to put in my bag and put it in the laptop bag separately. Before I started doing that I noticed that there were actually some patterns on the screen from the keyboard, it cleaned off easily but was enough for me to start removing it when closing.

I love this keyboard cover. I had a different one previously, but it stretched out so quickly and had a big hump overtop of my space bar. I decided to give this one a go and I'm so glad I did. It fits my M1 2021 Macbook Air keyboard perfectly - and I love that the touch ID key is left uncovered. I used the little adhesive dots to keep it securely in place, which worked well. Most of all, I just love the feel of this cover (even the sound of my typing is pleasing). It's not sticky feeling like silicone covers are, and also doesn't attract that film of dust like silicone does. Definitely buy this, you'll love it. It's way nicer than the bare keys, both in feel and sound.

This isn't perfect, but it's a good fit and does the job. Fits my Macbook Air perfectly and doesn't move or shift when I'm typing. The feeling does take a little getting used to, but this is no big deal. Note: It protects the keyboard, but you still have to keep it clean. Make sure to wipe it down when you're cleaning your laptop. It does touch the laptop's screen slightly when it's closed so any greases and oils will transfer to the screen and make it harder to clean.
