USB 3.0 Type-A Male to Female Extension Dock Station Docking Cable 0.8m

Used this to extend my Corsair Slipstream dongle away from my PC's rear IO for a better signal (these dongles are quite fussy little things, sensitive to objects in the way and even USB 3 interference), quite a simple device really so nit much to say except it does the job well and looks much better than just shoving the dongle into a basic USB extension.! It is very light though, even little cable kinks are enough to make it not sit flat, I'm going to add a bit of blu-tac to the base to help.

Not very good quality. USB port doesn't provide a tight fit and the devices that are plugged in keep disconnecting.

Ideal for wireless LAN.

I bought this to move my wireless keyboard dongle away from the computer as plugging in a usb3 drive kills the connection. Works so can use wireless keyboard and external drive together.

Needed something more stable/convenient than the USB extension cable I was using. Had low expectations for this but turned out to be a good item. The cable is thick and feels good quality and the stand itself is decent. Happy with this.

This has a lot of good reviews so maybe I was just unlucky but the one I received was none functioning out of the box. As I have an engineering background I decided to take it apart as it is easy to disassemble without breaking anything and I managed to realign / clean the connector pins enough on both the female and male connectors to enable USB devices to be recognised when plugged into it. If I hadn’t fixed it I would’ve returned it for a refund. If it fails again I will be returning it. Apart from that the cable feels / looks like a decent quality chunky cable and the soldering on the female connector isn’t too bad either especially for the price. Therefore, if you get one that works out of the box then I think it will be ok for a good while.

From the small amount of testing I've done, seems to perform at 3.0 levels. Looks to be well made — assembled with screws, not glue or snap-together plastic. Cable is ~30 inches long. Cable is stiff because 3.0 cannot be skinny or lightweight due to insulation and transmission requirements. Depending on application, might need double-sided tape or Velcro to keep it in place. I would prefer the cable to be about 6 inches longer, maybe a full meter in length, so I could plug into one of the built-in motherboard ports of my desktop computer (actually a tower sitting on the floor under my desk) and be long enough to run behind the desk and sit on top rear surface of my desk. As it is, I have to use a 3.0 extension cable to get the few extra inches I need.

Happy with the USB extension cradle. Solid build, solid cable, USB adapter sits tightly in it, the plastic cradle/stand may not look 'high-end' but it's definitely practical and performs as expected with no issues.

Cabo de boa qualidade. Pode ser usado para lâmpada usb. Na parte de trás devia ter ranhura para pendurar num parafuso na parede. Recomendo.
