Good for the money
Some time ago, I bought an X-acto brand blade holder. It fit nicely with the two large blades I had laying around. When said blades got dull, I bought a pack of X-acto brand blades...and they were too small to fit in the holder. Go figure. Well, that holder recently disappeared. I suspect someone "borrowed" it and I'll never see it again. So I got this pack so I could have extra holders. To my delight, these holders are not large, so they fit the blades that I bought back then! As with many other reviewers, I've had issues with the blade in these holders loosening. One measure I take to stop this from happening is I take some slip joint pliers (channel locks or vice grips would work for this as well) and clamp the pliers jaws onto the holder ring. I use just enough clamping force that the pliers won't slip when I turn them, but not so much force that I scrape up the ring. Then use the pliers as a lever to further tighten the ring. Again, don't try to tighten it too much! Either the pliers will slip, you'll mangle the ring, or worse, you could strip the threads on the ring or the holder. Doing that properly will keep the blade still for normal use. The blade will still loosen and move if you bear down on it, but at that point, you will be in danger of breaking the blade or damaging it's edge. Again, these are not large holders, so subsequently they are built for standard sized blades, not the bigger, beefier blades. Using my trick described above, the blades only loosen during heavy work and I use these primarily for post processing 3D prints. Sometimes that's simply slicing off plastic "whiskers" off of a 3D print, sometimes it's light deburring- breaking a sharp edge. And sometimes it's the burly task of removing an "elephant's foot"- a very thick burr of plastic at the base of a 3D print. These holders do all of the above tasks well enough, as well as other tasks like slicing strips of felt or paper. Yes, the holders can't keep the blades tight when I'm slicing off an elephant's foot off a 3D print, but for one, these holders aren't designed for that, and two, I paid just a few dollars more for this pack of holders over what I paid for my now lost big holder, so for the value I got, I'm fine with having to stop and retighten the holders on occasion for heavy work.

Perfect.
I bought these specifically to carve pumpkins. They work so well when your trying to add fine details and corners. I did have a blad just fall out. But for the price. I had 9 more I could depend on lol. Super sharp and did the job. Grip was nice considering my hands were quite slimmy still. Blade size was perfect. Depending on what your working on id say these are generally safe. I was getting down pretty hard with a pumpkin and had that blade slip and fall out. So just be aware of how your holding it and if its getting loose. Other than that. Would buy again.

Exacto knife
I haven’t used them for my class yet, but they look like the typical Exacto knife I buy from art stores. .

These are just OK
These are ok but the collar loosens regularly, I'm always having to re-tighten them over and over again. Which is dangerous cause I'm grabbing near the sharp blade every time.

These are the only knives my husband will use when custom painting fishing lures.

Excellent value for a product that is very similar to the more expensive name brand.

Purchased to use for polymer clay and epoxy resin projects. Blades are sharp and the handles are rigid enough for precise cuts. Would recommend for small craft projects.

Blades are very sharp. Small handles with no grip make it difficult to use for long periods. I use for my cricut designs and it works well as you can be very detailed with the finepoint on each blade.
