My everyday sunglasses; Review for both brown and smoke tints
I have wimpy eyes; I'm extremely nearsighted, they water easily and I hate the sun. I also live in Florida. Needless to say, I go through polarized sunglasses pretty quickly. I grabbed my first pair of these for about $5 (a steal!) during a lightning deal on here and fell in love. They are sturdy but flexible and cover my entire field of vision. I have read several complaints, and thought I would address them from my point of view.... The nose pieces: Yes, they are flimsy, and they fall off. If you are aware of this, you might either 1) go ahead and superglue them in place, or 2) catch them when it happens. I personally liked the sunglasses enough that when I lost a nose piece the first time, I simply used hot glue to fashion a new one! It's not fancy, but it's not like anyone actually sees the nose piece other than you right? The width of the glasses when folded...this is because they are protective glasses; they are not necessarily meant to be everyday wear. My husband, when he wears them, simply places them about his neck when not wearing them. I have done the same on occasion; I also simply place them in my purse. Yes, you run the risk of scratching the lenses in this case. Look for one of those little soft cloth baggies to carry them in. The smoke tinted lenses: The protection is dark enough for strong sun, but also light enough that they still work for an overcast day. I have grabbed these at $15 (and if you use subscribe and save, you can get them for $11!) and try to keep a few spares on hand. They do not fit into any standard glasses cases, they are 'safety goggles' after all, but I like them just fine as every day sunglasses. Both I and my husband use them regularly and I highly recommend them. My husband is fairly OCD and cannot stand ANY scratches on the lenses at all; this is why, at $11 with subscribe and save, I find these to be such a lucrative deal! The amber tinted lenses are perfect for any overcast day, and I have also found them helpful for when my eyes are fatigued after staring at my computer all day long. I have used them indoors when fighting headaches; the nice thing about both of these tints is that they are dark enough to help against lighting but not too dark that they hamper anything that you are trying to do. TLDR: Compared to $20 or more for polarized sunglasses at Walmart that may or may not cover your entire field of vision, you can't go wrong with these for $15 or less. Watch the nose pieces; glue them in place, and as with ANY sunglasses, protect the lenses from scratches! These will not fit into any standard glasses cases, so a cloth bag is probably your best bet.

These make great sunglasses for driving, boating, or fishing, because they're polarized.
Version reviewed: "KLEENGUARD V30 Nemesis Polarized Safety Glasses (28635), Polarized Smoke Lenses, Gunmetal Frame" I got these in the "smoke color" to use as sunglasses for driving. They make great driving sunglasses, as the polarized lens cuts the sun glare reflecting off of other cars. They're very dark, which I like because my eyes are very sensitive to light when driving. The frames are also very comfortable, with the part that goes over your ears being soft, rubbery, and flexible. I can't say how durable they are, as I just started using them. The only downside is that they're so dark that it makes it harder to read my on-dash GPS. Polarized lenses are also great for fishing or boating, because the polarized lenses help cut glare from the water, allowing you to sometimes see underwater and see fish, rocks, or obstacles to the boat. The cord that goes around your head would be useful while boating, so you don't lose them if you drop them or if you fall overboard (I've lost other sunglasses that way while canoeing or kayaking).

Fit different
Decent but frames are a little different from their unpolarized and not as comfortable in my opinion

I would highly recommend these. I have been wearing a pair of these for four years now, with no problems.

A couple points to know about great glasses...
I have purchased several pair Nemesis polarized safety glasses, both brown and smoke lenses, and use them for numerous activities requiring safety glasses and also as my regular sunglasses. They are light and comfortable and the polarized lenses are to me worth the extra cost as I spent a lot of time outdoors and at higher elevations. Some asked about the "darkness" of the brown lenses vs the smoke and the smoke lenses are darker. If it's a bright day, I'll wear the smoke; if the sun is lower, or there's some cloud cover, I'll wear the brown. The brown is also suitable for clay targets in all but the darkest conditions. Both smoke and brown are good so let the conditions you're most often in be your guide -or do like I do and have a pair of each in my truck. Two pair are still a fraction of the cost of most sunglasses, and you won't have to switch to safety glasses when you need them. They don't fit well in a case so I keep mine in a microfiber bag when not in use. Word of advice: the soft rubber nose pieces are very comfortable, but if you leave them on your dash in the summer THEY WILL MELT and leave you with two ribbons of black rubber protruding above the top of the frame like insect antennae that your wife will think are hilarious!

polarized for driving
The grey is OK but I usually prefer the brown bc it's more natural. No optical distortion from curved lens is great. It doesn't fold flat which I can live with.

Good but flaky?
Hello, I have mixed feelings about this. I like these polarized glasses. My first pair was through work and I enjoyed them so much I bought more for home related things like mowing the lawn and since then I’ve taken them on the golf course as well. Here’s the bad part, the inside side of the lenses are flaking. While most of the time I would just clean them with the eyeglass cloth I use for my reading glasses. However in this case I don’t want to risk any flakes going in my eye so now I don’t use them anymore. I will probably buy more because I do like them. I need to look but it’d be nice if they have a polarized pair with black rims along with the grey. Thanks

Excellent protection
I was having eye surgery and needed to protect my eyes from any flying debris. The gasket allows for a good seal around the eye socket.

False advertising
Description states 12 pairs. I should have listened to other reviews. Decent glasses, but not for $40. Should be about $5-6/pair.
