Great alternative to your usual colas and the like
I found this on the shelf of a family-run market in Solvang, CA. It was in a bottle. It is an amazing soda. So different than the run-of-the-mill colas and root beers. It's an old family-run producer whose market is generally the Midwest. Try it. I can't find it locally, so ordering it in cans through Amazon is great. Still like the bottle version better.

Ok, here it is folks, the Diet Version of North Carolina’s own Cherry Cola Cheer Wine! Even little kids can have this treat! A rich flavor of cherry, reminds me of Dr. Pepper, but I like it Better!

Horrible diet soda
I first tried the regular Cheerwine a few weeks ago and it quickly became one of my favorite sodas. I am a huge soda fan and quite often I get diet versions of soda because of the sheer quantity I drink. The Cheerwine with sugar is awesome, but the diet version is horrible. The diet cherry Cheerwine is partially flat, weak flavor and mildly carbonated. It has artifice sweetness, but does not taste sweet like other diet sodas. The flavor is weak compared to the sugar version. This lack of flavor and sweetness makes it like a seltzer water. It would be okay as a mild flavor seltzer water if the carbonation was better, but that area lacks too. It basically taste like a weak flavored, partially flat seltzer water.

underwhelming for the price
at least it doesn't taste like cough syrup like 9 out of 10 cherry flavored products seem to i'd buy it again if it was half the price
