Would it be good for a 2year old?

No, lots of puzzles a two year old wouldn’t understand. Lots of small pieces, two year olds still like to put things in their mouth. I gave this to my granddaughter who is six going on sixteen, she loves it but still needed some help. Good value because she keep her jewellery making sets in there. Definitely not for a two year old.

The main chest won’t lock. Is this the way it’s designed or a fault. Son wants it to lock to store treasure

No the main chest does not lock with the key but some doors on the inside can be locked

When will the pirate chest come back in stock?

They seem to be out of stock everywhere. You will just have to keep checking smyths and argos but there is no certain date for more stock unfortunately
