Great doorbell camera. It very easy to setup, just finish in few minutes. Also the battery keep charges up to 90%, so you have no worry about charge your battery or buy an extra. The camera's videos quality is great too. I also like delivered notice, love it. Yes, highly reccommend this product!

What I like: Very sharp video, microphone pics up sound very well, human recognition mode nearly flawless and have only had two alerts to non-human movement in the six months it's been installed, easy installation and synchronization with the home base, great amount of options for customization preferences, very fast response from the time it detects until it notifies you (95% of the time), and it was a good infrared lighting system when needed. Issues so far after six months: I clicked the live view one time while I was out of town and then decided to click out of it and just watch the recorded video of someone who had left a package. It was taking awhile to load as I had spotty cell service where I was and so I clicked back out and then on live view. This confused the doorbell and it took itself offline. When I got home that day, I could not get the doorbell to recover no matter what I did according to both the instructions or a message board for Eufy. I decided to remove the batteries from the device (which you need a jeweler's screwdriver to do) for 30 seconds, and then I put it all back together. That solved the issue and it hasn't happened since. The batteries are only lasting about 2 months but my house has a very high volume of in and out traffic, so I don't necessarily think it's a issue, but just to show what the rate is, I have about 10-20 instances of people going through that door a day. I have friends with the other brands and no matter what brand they have, they think theirs is the best and that may be. However, I'm very happy with this system and have added other Eufy cameras to the system and am very pleased with them all.

I really like the This camera system. I’ve got four cameras now one of the front door at three looking at all sides of our property. What I like most about this camera system is the clarity of the video the storage and the ease of retrieval as well as the way the system stores only on SD card memory, not some big brother site with monthly fee. The motion detection is perfect and is easy to define on each individual camera. The system works well at night and being able to communicate through the cameras audio is fantastic. I have not had any problems with the app and was pleasantly surprised with the consistency. The only thing I would ask them to change is the fact that the number of motion events can be erased inside the app, but the running total of events is on the main icon and does not reset. Battery life is amazing. I upgraded the included SD card to a 128 gig Level 10, 100 gig speed and it works great. I install security cameras and AV equipment for a living, and this is one of the best performing systems I have used. Kudos to Eufy for a great design and GUI that really works.

What we love: •We own two of these and they have lasted (officially) 5 and a half years as of January 2026 •The battery has never needed to be replaced •A single charge lasts a couple months in an average traffic area (home) but approximately 1 month in a high traffic area (our office) —both set to record upon motion detection and at their highest settings •Although they are only 2K, the video they record is even better than Eufy's so-called 4K cameras •After all these years, they are still working like new and Eufy has never stopped updating them (yay!) What a prospect buyer should know: •As will all wireless cameras, notifications have some lag (this is not exclusive to either this model or the brand) •Also, (only sometimes) the camera fails record some events (movement) •Trying to snooze the camera from the app, for this particular model, has ALWAYS required touching the snooze button more than once, but then it works (yes, it continues to happen over the years and none of the software patches has ever fixed that) but that is no biggie •It is fantastic as a doorbell and camera, but IT SUCKS at two-way communication for the audio is very delayed •It is rechargeable with a micro usb (yes, the pedestrian charger) but if you have a fast charger (like we do) it charges much quicker than anticipated Through the years, all our other Eufy surveillance cameras have died as the years have passed, but this ones stands still and, while we have replaced all other with newer Eufy cameras, we have not upgraded the doorbell cameras for they still continue to work.

This camera was an incredible purchase. Image quality. Long-lasting battery. Easy installation and aesthetically pleasing yet functional.

When Eufy finally made this doorbell compatible with the Homebase 1 I added to my 3 camera system that I bought on the 2018 Kickstarter campaign. It functions perfectly well, paired easily with the Homebase, and is replacing me porch camera, which will be moved to the back door. The only weakness I've found in the system is the occasional connection drop to the Application Server. I understand they use AWS, so I don't know whether the problem is with Eufy or Amazon. Seems like it happens once a month, usually for a few hours. When I couldn't connect for days, I checked with Eufy and found they hadn't updated me Homebase firmware. They updated it and the problem went away, until the next connection problem which was systemwide for a few hours. Overall I'd give the cameras 5 stars, but only 4 stars for the overall system due to server outages. BTW, the battery life between charges is really a year unless it's in a high traffic area. My garage camera first charge lasted "only" 8 months, but at the time I was getting 40-50 recordings/day. Since that tenant moved, battery life is similar to the other cameras, at least 12 months.

This was a great buy I had I different company will not bash themv as they were good but this is better. The value outweighs the cost. Pros Cost No subscriptions Great notifications shows faces Doorbell functions as needed Alerts are pretty quick and crisp App is easy to use and set up was seamless Cons Motion sometimes picks up random movements trees etc it's set to human only Have to remove to charge if not hard wire. Definitely recommend to buy and will buy more when needed great product. I have the door bell as an add on to the 2pack Eufy 2c bundle I need I more camera for North side of house and I will be completely covered.

Purchased two of these units. They are hooked up to ring the mechanical chimes, and are set to operate with mechanical chimes. One is at our side door, one at the front door. Several times now, there have been random rings of the doorbell at any time of day or night. No, it's not exposed to rain. No, nobody rang it. Only one time it actually triggered a recording based on it ringing, and it recorded 30 seconds of absolutely nothing. Even better, the one at the front door notifies us on the app every time it detects motion, regardless of the notification settings. Save your money and purchase a real security camera system that won't give you false alarms and won't give you a heart attack waking you in the middle of the night for no reason. Update: They've taken about a new issue; going offline and requiring me to remove the doorbell/camera, and hold down the button on the back for a few seconds just to "wake" them up. No reason - batteries are of course fully charged since it's on my wired doorbell system, but randomly one will fail and go permanently offline, then eventually the other, until reset as described above. I've bought a few tech lemons on Amazon in the past, but this eufy system is hands-down the worst, considering the price vs. performance. There's nothing "secure" about this system, other than a sense of being ripped off. New Update: a year later and these still play ring and run every few months! Incredible! These cameras are also combined with two of Eufy's wireless EufyCam 2 Pro units, which for some reason I am blocked from leaving an accurate review. I noticed today that as the wife pulled out of the garage, with a camera pointed straight down at the driveway in front of the garage, the camera never detected this. The wired "L" system we purchased from a popular local bulk store detected the event the moment the bumper protruded from the door. The Eufy's motion detection is set to max. Oh, and one last thing... the Android app will spam you incessantly wanting you to purchase stuff from them. It is insane to find that in today's day and age, one can give a company a large amount of money for a product only to have them invade your peace and quiet by spamming you, with no way to turn it off. Do yourself a favor... find something else. Update March 2025: Now the Android app actually has popup ads that you have to navigate around upon opening the app. Seriously? What a terrible choice! And the doorbell ringing in the middle of the night has increased now as well! The time has obviously come for me to yank this junk out and find a real camera system.

The doorbell camera failed following heavy rain, becoming completely unusable due to severe condensation that blurred the lens. After returning the faulty device, the customer service was appalling14 days later, I have received no refund, no replacement, and am still without a working doorbell camera, on top of that the app consistently crashing/freezing!!! The customer experience was unacceptable. Avoid this product and company at all costs!!!!!

Camera is a great add on to my eufy system. I wired into my existing doorbell wires as I wanted constant charging and to use my original chime. Installed quickly, I had plenty of wire from the original doorbell so didn't use the Included extensions as is said not required. Camera paired to my homebase 2 quickly and added to the app no problem. When I turned the power back on, there was a constant buzzing from the original chime which also didn't ring with the new doorbell cam, and Camera wasn't charging. I confirmed my transformer was within the required range. I popped the Camera off and noticed the metal contact under the wire screws was very small so I'd try the wire extensions as they have a spade type attachment on the end. Hooked them up and both issues gone. Camera now constantly powered, chime isn't buzzing and also works when doorbell is pressed. My only wish is if they had a larger wedge than 15°, there are 30-45° 3rd party wedges which I may get. I've had eufy products for 5 months now and I am very impressed with them, the no monthly/annual fees makes it event better!
