Decor Receptacle with Cover - 15A 125V Black

this was so much easier than we thought it was going to be. I watched a couple videos and did use two 1/2 thick boards (one top and one under) with a C clamp. It may have taken 30 minutes to install. It was a perfect replacement for the one the old one and I think it's probably a little more durable. It did take both of us with it being on the bottom side of the cabinet that's over the sofa, one to hold onto it and one to clamp the boards so the back would go on. We had black and I replaced it with black. Shut off the power, pulled out the old wires, place the new ones where it says Wht G Blk, put the back on, squish it together with the C clamp, turn the breakers back on, test, and WHA LA !! The cover just snaps on the front and it's the exact same cover from the old receptacle so now I have an extra.

With some basic knowledge it very doable! Happy with end result; looks oem on our Rv.

Works great, but there is something on the face of it that won't come off. Maybe it rubbed on something, but I couldn't clean it up with Goof Off. Didn't try returning it as it's in my camper and hopefully won't stand out too bad.

Easy to install to replace broken one

On mobile homes the outlets are different. the wires get pushed into the slots on the outlet fixture. The ground goes in the middle. It is labeled black and white for the other wires. It fit right in the original outdoor covering unit. To mount is kind of tricky has screw that tighten down to plastic wedges to get it tight. No push button rest. The original ones didn't have one so got the same that was original.

The product sodas what it is supposed to do BUT installation was a real PITA because the wings that hold the device in the wall would not move all the way out of the way when inserting the unit into the wall cutout. I had to cut additional wall out for the wings to get in behind the wall. This made the installation extremely awkward and time-consuming.

It was an exact fit and replacement for the RV receptacle. One thing to note is use the back cover to press the wires in. A 'C' clamp and a couple pieces of wood to press together works great. Attempting to push wires in any other way is frustrating and dangerous (screwdriver). I believe just using the back cover and slowly squeezing with clamp is the proper way and if there are two sets of wires do one set at a time.

Wanted to add another receptacle in my rv. This is much similar to the original ones and easy to install, however the face plate does not snap in place securely and keep falling off. I may have to use some silicone adhesive to secure it.
