This is a fun and cool way to tech your children how to have phone etiquette if that's the right word. We have a toddler they love to talk to Grandma Aunts ect.. but the screen is a DISTRACTION. This was an attempt to see if my toddler would stop trying to touch the screen or scroll and see of they actually have the ability to talk on the phone. When it was just my cell phone, my toddler would sit in silence as Auntie or whomever would talk and then just try and look at the screen. I got this and it's been really fun. They know when the phone rings it's someone calling,and they actually talk and have well a toddler jibberish conversation but they found it fun. It's the first time I have seen my 3 yr old actually try and converse on the phone to someone. I am using it to teach important phone numbers and dialing out as well as just simple phone etiquette when it's appropriate to answer a phone around meals, and use it ect.. its a great tool. So to me as a parent this is a win to me. I needed to lessen my screen time. I now have with this being hooked up in our home. My child sees that I dial out (you don't have to you could just use your cell phone but I'm trying to lead by example) it's one less techy screen distraction in our home and I believe it's making my child a better communicator. I am going to attempt to find a Jack splitter to see if I can hook up 2 different types of landlines and still they all ring and work ect.. Will update once I do. I viewed the cost as much as a typical Bluetooth so it seemed reasonable, I think it is a good value. You still may have to purchased a landline (we goodwilled ours) and a RJ511 phone cable. It's durable and not cheap feeling in weight and how it was packaged and put together. Fast to put together once you have all your cords, and yes it's corded tech so you have to organize that but the appearance isn't ugly or gaudy, it's just a small white box the size of an average palm I would say. I 100% recommend to anyone searching for a tool to lessen screen time or teach phone use.

My dad is beyond thrilled with this setup!! I cannot praise it enough! It’s very small but sets up easy. It doesn’t like to stay plugged in so that’s a problem. The landline phone doesn’t work if this device isn’t plugged in. Once we learned to check for the red light we had better success.

4.5, I like it. Using with AT&T Corded Home Phone ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09R1QDLH6?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 ). It works, the Phone reliably receives and makes calls from my Cell Phone. Easy to set up and pair; when I get home, I can put my Cell Phone out of reach. I got these two items to help reduce my in-home smartphone usage. I don't know if it's the AT&T Corded Home Phone or the CELL2JACK causing this, but, the volume of incoming calls is low and there is a constant buzzy humming--I saw in the CELL2JACK directions that this can be caused by the power adapter used, so idk. Overall, I am thrilled with the fact that this WORKS for what I wanted it for. CELL2JACK + AT&T Corded Home Phone together costed less than bluetooth-installed Phone receivers, so I would recommend this combination to someone interested in using a Home Phone as a Cell Phone receiver.

I bought the Cell2Jack so I could use my iPhone with a traditional landline phone, and it does exactly what it promises. The included instructions are clear and made setup quick and easy. Pairing with my iPhone worked the first time, and both making and answering calls on the landline phone has been reliable. One thing I really like is how small the device is. It easily fits inside the case of my 1980s AT&T telephone. I used a very short telephone cable between the phone and the Cell2Jack, and only needed to run the USB power cable out the back, so everything stays neat and hidden. I also find voice calls much more comfortable on a real telephone than on the iPhone itself. The audio is easier to hear, and holding a handset for longer calls is simply more pleasant. If you prefer using a traditional phone but still want the convenience of your iPhone, this is a great solution.

First of all I almost did not buy this because of the reviews. I am please with my purchase. I bought a phone from Amazon to go with it. I just got it today about 2 hours ago and I slammed the phone down on my daughter 3 times already. So in the reviews people spoke about the static. Ok so yes it has some air that a cell phone does not. That’s is normal if you ever had a real landline phone back in the day you know it sounds just like this. My calls were clear and I am very pleased with this purchase. I let the phone ring and I listened to The dial tone over and over. Memories this was the best purchase for me this year. This is the closest to an authentic phone line you are going to get. It comes with instructions but my cell phone paired automatically no issues with cell2jack. I love it you will love it. Oh and ot has an old school ringer Í promise of you are in doubt do not be. Put it in the cart right now and do not take it out buy it. You will love this.

Very easy set up and does exactly what is advertised, but there are a couple of issues that prevent me from giving the device a higher rating. One is it's always in Bluetooth pairing mode. That's not an issue if you're just using it around your house, but if someone has their cellphone nearby in pairing mode, they may either accidentally or intentionally pair it to your Cell2Jack. While not a security issue because that allows you to dial using the other person's cellphone (not the other way around) you may need to re-pair it to your device afterward. The second issue is the voice audio quality. While acceptable, you will not experience the same audio quality using your cellphone directly or when you use a desk telephone connected to a landline. I did download a firmware update that slightly improved the quality. To do this, you download a small file from their website to a PC. Initially my PC didn't find the device when I plugged it into a USB port. I used two different PCs and different USB ports. I tried the next day and it worked. I don't know what it wouldn't work initially. There are also some settings you can change in your device from this software. You can experiment to see what settings are best for you. The Cell2Jack needs to be plugged into an external USB power source to work. A USB power adapter, like you get with most cellphones should work. I've been able to use this device with a rechargeable USB power bank with no problems. That should work if you're not near a power outlet. I'm using a 10,000mAH power adapter. I can't vouch if smaller ones may have issues.

Works. Setup is pretty straightforward, just follow the instructions. Works well for one old phone at a time. You're cell phone works as usual. If you answer on your cell you wont hear anything as all the audio is switched to your phone line. You can answer on your cell or your old phone and talk on the old phone. I have it connected to my house line so I can plug in extra phones like I used to have it with my land line. We used to have 'conference calls' which different people on each hand-held phone. I can pick up on either phone but if I pick up the extension, and then pick up the phone closest to the cell phone, it will cut off the extension. If I pick up the phone closest to the cell, then the extension, I can hear on both and use it like I used to. I noticed that the quality of my extension phone is much better than the phone next to the cell. Oh well. There is some noise when using both old line phones at the same time and it is a bit hard to hear on one of them (the cheaper one) - wish there was a volume control to get more volume. When using any one phone, it is fine. The background noise is not really noticeable on either of my phones although my extension phone's background noise is nonexistent and the volume is higher. It is a better phone though, one from an office. I like it and am glad I got a good working cell2jack so I can pick up my phone in the other room instead of running where the cell phone is. Would definitely buy again. Edit after a couple of months: Not always consistent. Sometimes just gives silence when picking up a call and the other person gets silence also - no contact made. Recently, did not trigger the answering machine but went to voicemail on the cell phone so did not know anyone called. Also, most times now, does not connect call when pick up extension. Not reliably working.

El único problema que he detectado es que no permite cortar la llamada entrante no iniciada desde el teléfono no celular. Es un problema menor. Respecto al alcance del Bluetooth para que el celular se conecte al dispositivo indican que debe estar al lado uno del otro pero en mi caso he probado a más de 10 metros en habitaciones diferentes y seguía funcionando. Por lo demás funciona según lo que prometen.

Wonderful! Once purchasing the right landline with loud volume the set up was easy. Connects with a mobile and has adjustable settings. Highly recommend for young kids and family. Works as a family mobile that can be taken when going out, then put away and used as normal landline at home ✔️✔️

the device provide an amazing and swift integration between mobile phone and old rotary phones (or any other dial phones). no programing is required and ringing quality is good, I used it with socotel 63, worked like a charm. however I cannot use it for dialing. after referring back the problem to Cell2jack support team, they confirmed that in this stage their support and focus is on US market and they are adopting their dialing conventions. currently I am not using it awaiting any further updates to add a leading zero dialing function.

Super produit. Au départ, il recevait les appel mais impossible d'appeler avec le téléphone fixe. J'ai du mettre a jour le firmware pour règler le problème. Le site web de Cell2jack explique toute la procédure de mise a jour. Maintenant tous fonctionne correctement. Cell2jack fonctionne avec un téléphone Ericsson U43 et un Socotel S63 avec clavier DTMF.
