Does what it is advertised to do. Service was as specified. I have bought this in the past and have not been disappointed.

Strong heat output—does exactly what it should
Bought these 250W R40 bulbs for heat use, and they do exactly what they’re supposed to—put out a strong, consistent amount of heat. They heat up quickly and throw solid radiant heat, which works well for enclosed spaces or spot heating. No issues with performance. A couple things worth knowing: These are true incandescent heat bulbs, so they draw full power and get very hot—use a proper rated fixture Like any bulb in this category, lifespan depends on conditions (vibration, moisture, and frequent on/off cycling will shorten life) Not built like the old heavy-duty bulbs used to be, so treat them accordingly I’ve been using them in a garage setup, and they’ve worked exactly as expected. Bottom line: If you need reliable heat output, these get the job done. Just install them correctly and don’t abuse them.

Disappointed with scratches
The bulb certainly performs as desired, it provides bright light and radiates heat. However, I was disappointed with the surface scratches on the front lens. Since this bulb is intended to be uncovered, the scratches are visible. It was challenging to get a good image, but you can see the scratches on the lens. As far as longevity, we'll see.

Gives great light but, isn’t glaring or cheap looking.
It was beautiful! Looked like a very expensive overhead ceiling light but, it not expensive at all. Very good buy and looks great hanging in our dining room. So very glad that we chose that particular light set. Very classy looking.

Great heat lamp
We had a cold snap a few years ago in Arizona, bought these for my dogs dog house, color was nice, the heat output was perfect, no issues at all, except the dogs did not want to come outside there house it was so warm.

My husband was able to make my stand for it at a fraction of the price.
Bought the 2 lamps and my husband made the stand for it. Total cost 80.00 compared to 300.00 + if you buy it already made. To me that’s a great deal.
