fun to read with kids
I and my toddlers enjoy these books. Not only are they well written and beautifully illustrated, but they are great for jumping points into discussing with toddlers. Informative and fun!

One of our favorites, for sure!!!
These books are incredible! The art is amazing, first of all, but the content is so interesting and fun! We were gifted "Never Smile At A Monkey", also by Jenkins, a while ago. The title made me think of "When You Give A Mouse A Cookie"...which it is definitely NOT, but we soon ordered more of the books! My son can't get enough of this one. He loves learning about dangerous animals and their defenses. One of our favorites, for sure!!!

Love Steve Jenkins Animal books
My 5yr old daughter loves Steve Jenkin books. We have about 6 and have gotten every one the local library has. I love how often in his book he has several levels for learning. I think of these as science books for kids- that kids will love!

FUN
One of our favorite stories. Personally I am not a fan of the pictures, they are kind of odd collage type pictures but my five year old doesn't seem to mind. Its a great story and he picks it over and over for bedtime.

Love it!
My 9-year-old daughter loves it. According to me this is too easy for her, but she was very excited to learn many new things and she insisted on reading them to me. If your kid loves animals, they will definitely love this book.

cute
This is a great book! My son and nephew both received a copy for Christmas and it is their favorite bedtime story! It illustrations are beautiful.

Beautiful illustrations
The illustrations are stunning. Unfortunately the text accompanying them seems pretty much that, an accompaniment. It's not a book that you would love for the language.
