Needed an outdoor ceiling fan box for a patio fan Perfect box for the installation was secure and good quality , canopy cover ended up covering the box so the outer ring on the box gave it a clean look

This was exactly what I was looking for, I just did not expect to find it all in one place. I installed a ceiling fan in a palapa (tiki hut), outdoors and onto to the bottom of a 4" diameter wooden post at the center of my structure. The electrical box comes with a circular plate that gives the ceiling fan shroud ( the cover that would normally snug up to a ceiling) a surface to stop on creating a nice neat look. The electrical box is threaded and ready for 1/2" or 3/4", making it easy to use liquid tight connectors. Quite happy with this!

Absolute must if you are installing a ceiling fan in a damp or wet area!!! High quality product. Worth every penny. Matched up perfect for my new ceiling fan under a covered porch!!

Great for mounting ceiling fans or disk lights in wet locations it’s has the larger diameter so canopy of fans are shrouded to prevent water from getting inside the fan

So first, I love these!! Strong and protects from water. But buy new only!!!! I had to return 2 of these that were packed by Amazon warehouse because they were missing plugs, screws, and covers….basically useless. But I did order 3 new ones (new comes in a box, like new did not). The new ones were great. Only one was missing a set of screws ( but it was a size I didn’t need). These are perfect for our screened in porch & hold the ceiling fans perfectly! I could only find grey at the local big box stores but needed bronze, and Amazon delivered! And the cost was a couple of bucks less than the local stores.

This is a very solid outdoor electrical box. It's extremely durable and well made and also includes an optional rain cover and also the adaptors / grommets you may need for different size cables and conduits. The markings on the box to help alignment are a nice touch and the hardware options (different screws depending on the application) included are very well made too. Very satisfied with these.

Very well made to hang a heavy ceiling fan for outside or damp locations. I had a hard time finding something like this, could have some side mount options to make it better for different applications.
