My mum asked me to get these for her. With all the hairdressers being closed because of the pandemic, she decided to go back to the old ways of styling hair at home. The good old-fashioned hair curlers, Hilda Ogden style!They’re every bit as I remembered them from my childhood. I used to have to help her in those days. The only difference is that the pins are now plastic and not metal. A lot safer, I would think. The rollers are pretty much the same. She went for the 15mm ones as she has relatively short hair nowadays.For under £7 for a set of twenty-four rollers and pins can’t be too bad. The quality is reasonable, and they have no sharp edges that could cause an injury. They’re a lot cheaper than going to the hairdressers even if they were open. My apologies to all hairdressers out there, I know it’s not your fault.Overall, a fair set of old-fashioned hair rollers. I hope that helps.

Crikey, these little rollers grabbed onto my hair and wouldn't let go. Not suitable for long hair they just get in a tangle. Would be OK for short hair where the hair is not wrapped around it too many times.

Best ones and they are firm.The rollers don't give in. I am satisfied.

Absoloutely rubbish . My hair was so tangled when trying to remove them I had to tear my hair off . I’ll be sticking to sponge rollers in future

I bought these for my mother in law to replace some very old rollers she had. They grip well without pulling like self-gripping rollers do and are exactly what she wanted to do her hair. They come with pins and a good size for short hair.
