Works properly
Fast shipping. It does dilute the solder to make it easier to remove.

Great stuff
Works great. I replace joysticks regularly and I applied some to each pin, heated each pin individually and by the time I melted the last joint, the entire stick box literally fell out because the first joints still didn't harden. Stays liquid for a long time and is very easy to apply with good flux. Just make sure you clean it off the pads after or else you'll have some weak solder joints. Low melt solder is the s&$%!

If you think this is expensive, try not using it. Be an idiot just like I was.
If you're new to soldering, this is a must have for removing surface mount ICs. I SEVERELY damaged a customer's YSUS board trying to remove a shorted 100 pin TQFP. I had used my Quick 861D a few dozen times at that point, and never needed any Fast Chip. After heating the area for way too long and the IC not releasing, I could smell burning substrate. Then I panicked and used too much leverage. The chip came up bringing about two dozen pads and traces with it. It cost $114.00 to replace the board I destroyed. Plus, I had to tell a paying customer that I ruined their equipment. You learn things in this business everyday, but learn from my mistake instead of making it yourself. I use a little of this on every chip that looks like it might put up a fight and it never fails to do the job. It only takes a small amount and this size tube will last a long time. If you solder as hobby or for business, you need this. It is worth it's weight in gold. It saves you time and money in both short and long term.

Expensive but works well, for instance to de-solder joystick potentiometers
That's a small amount, but if you just want to replace some joystick analog sticks with TMR sticks, this is very helpful and more than you need. The idea is that (always use good flux) you can melt this with the existing no-lead solder on the joystick's board. This will lower the melting temperature of the connection, helping you remove the old part more successfully and faster.

Worked Great for removing smd components and though hole connectors with multiple pins
This product worked well for me on several occasions so far removing power connectors on my Gameboy SP that was was modding to USB-C. The ground legs are notoriously difficult to keep solder molten and remove. I was able to use the low-melt which stays molten for quite long I must say to remove the legs and pins all at once! It cleans up easily too with solder wick or suction which is nice. The only Negative that it's a bit expensive for what you get but it does work well, so I'd buy more once I use up this batch. oddly some components I found it difficult to get the low-melt to attach to initially, it helped to use flux though. not sure if anything can be improved upon for it but just wanted to mention it.

Great for smd removal
Use for smd removal. Works very well but pricey for the quantity you receive. However it goes a long way as you don't need much.

It's the real deal
Low melt in name and low melt it does. Quite happy with the solder. I just wish I was better at it lol.

SMD Removal method
This is a very useful tool for removing surface mounted devices (smd). With some solder paste and application of this low melting point solder on top of the solder to be removed, by continuously running the soldering iron along the solder it becomes molten and can be easily removed and saves a lot of time. I prefer this method to desoldering pumps, hot air reworking stations and desoldering braid.

The easiest IC puller
I've been fixing radios for 40 years and when the new surface-mounted components started to immerge it became an issue to remove large IC. I was skeptical at first till I had to remove a 40 pin IC from the radio and I didn't want to brick a customer's radio. I found this alloy that actually works fantastic for large IC removal. For modern day electronics, this is the best it makes it so easy to remove large IC's from a circuit board

Love this product
really great for getting components off the PCB even the unleaded solder which can be a real pain will purchase again
