Purchased from Trailside - Great company to deal with. Amazing sleeping pad.
Purchased the klymit insulated static double from trailside, who were brilliant to deal with when I had a query. The klymit sleeping pad... Well what a piece of kit and Im really glad I purchased... We do a lot of camping, normally travelling by train and keeping things light is important. we were using standard flocked double bed which are pretty heavy, take up quite a bit of room and they also they have zero insulation.. which we found out about when we decided to go camping in early spring.. normally I don't thank my partner for packing a ridiculous amount of extra clothes, but this time I was glad. So I looked into the thermarest pads but every so often I would read reviews that they make a hell of a noise when you move on them (crisp packetesque) which is probably fine solo camping etc, but not something that would have worked for family camping. So the klymit pads seemed to fit the bill and I checked other reviews, not just on Amazon, mainly because well it's quite expensive for what is really just an inflatable bed.. and maybe not purchased regularly enough to get a stack of reviews. Go have a look about and you will see they are highly rated. For me the winners about this product is its lightweight, well made, comfortable (with no air displacement when someone moves on the pad), quiet and of course insulated. So if you are kind of swithering between this and something just a bit cheaper. I would go with the Klymit static insulated range. Worth the little bit extra in my mind.

Comfy and Warm... A Little on the Chunky Side
Ordered this to use in my Wild Country Helm 1 (not saying the name of my tent to flex, just saying it incase you're wondering if this will fit inside a Helm 1. It will) I'll keep the review simple. COMFORT 8/10 It's pretty comfortable. I slept on this for 3 nights in grassy and then twiggy forest floors and all nights I slept like a literal log. Heads up, I sleep like a log in most places but still, fair olay. The V slots down the middle give it a bitttt of an awkward feel at times if you're in a certain positions especially. I sleep on my side and occasionally felt a bit awkward with the V slots. Not enough to stop you sleeping, but enough to make you change positions. EASE OF USE 10/10 You blow it up with your mouth. Takes less than 10 breaths. I have both my lungs but might take longer if you only had one. Packing away is child's play. Roll it up and stuff it in the handy bag. THERMAL QUALITIES 10/10 Incredibly warm at night. So toasty. Can literally feel the warmth beneath you. I'd genuinely use this in all seasons. I reckon with a decent sleeping bag you'd stay comfy in some pretty cold temps. PACKABILITY 7/10 Maybe I want my cake and to eat it too (ie I want a R value around 3 but also for it to pack small) but this was larger than I expected. Took up a fair amount of bag space. Kind of wished they could someone make it a tad smaller. VALUE FOR MONEY 10/10 No questioning this one. Finding a reputable brand with a properly tested R value sleeping mat that wasn't over £150 was low key quite difficult. I'm sure the more expensive ones are great but honestly I had nothing but sweet dreams on this. No complaints in terms of value.

Decent comfort at a good price and a small, light package
This bedmat packs up very small - only takes up ~ 2l of volume when rolled tight, and is easy to inflate fully (the inflation valve system takes a minute to get your head around but is pretty effective. However, it's not got as much "loft" off the ground as I'd like - Particularly if you sleep on your side you'll most definitely be touching the ground. Ideal for lightweight hiking trips or for fairly warm weather, or if used on top of another basemat. It's also pretty good value.

Plenty of comfort even on less than perfect ground
Used for the first time recently on a an open bivvy bad camp. Sleeping mat inserted inside the bag with 4 season OEX mummy bag. Warm & toasty all night even though their was Ice on the poles in the morning. Bag goes up easy in around 12-15 breaths and the snaplock valve is very easy to use. Doesn't rustle like the thermarest matts do which is a bonus. Well made plus includes a patch kit. Light & easy to pack away into tiny bag afterwards too. I'm a side sleeper and it was very comfortable with nothing touching the ground even though the ground was fairly uneven. It's now my goto sleeping mat, certainly while it's still cold at night.

Two nights of a decent mat then it failed.
Failed. I slept on this two nights, both with it inside a bivi bag. Decently comfortable. Third night (same set up) - woke up with it flat. Haven’t yet found the leak. It has good reviews. I appreciate that the light weight and small size comes at the expense of robustness but I would expect better than this. I can’t recommend this item.

Comfortable but not warm in winter
I was excited to receive this air mattress, especially as it was the most money I’d ever spent on one. The air mattress is fairly light and compact, which is great for multi day trips. When camping in summer and early autumn, I found the mat comfortable due to its shape and the baffles keep you from easily falling off. When paired with the klymit mattress cover, I was warm. However, in winter I was always cold. Due to Klymit advertising this as a 4 season air mattress (some shops online still advertise this as having an R-value of 4.4!), I presumed it was my sleeping bag that needed upgrading. Eventually after trying various sleep systems I realised that the problem was with the mattress. Unfortunately, it is not as highly insulated as described (ASTM rating of only 1.9). After over a year of testing, I can now confidently say that this is a 2 season (3 at push) sleeping air mattress. Do not use this on its own in winter/cold weather or you will be very cold, possibly even putting your life at risk in sub-zero conditions. Overall, this is a comfortable sleeping air mattress and due to its weight and size is great for spring/summer. However, it is not suitable for winter, which makes this a fairly expensive 2-3 season air mattress. If wish to camp in winter, look elsewhere.

Perfect!!
Was a little dubious when I first bought this as I was looking for a good 3 season roll mat that was also lightweight and this seemed to good to be true. When it first arrived I was amazed at how small and lightweight it was. I have only had the pleasure to use this once so far, it inflated really well and was used as my barrier in my hammock at -1. It kept me fantastically warm. I would definitely recommend it. Excellent value for money

Not bad at all
So far only used this once (at home in my living room). Doing 3+ month South America tour with 40% of it camping. This is very comfortable and I suspect very warm - as I woke up sweltering, so will probably use my sleeping bag more as a duvet cover. It didn't lose any air and has now been 'up' for 2 weeks. I reckon it's going to be one of my best buys! Update Dec 19. Used for the 3 1/2 month overland trip. Never went down, great for side sleeping too and used in tent with snow all around. Definitely the insulated version was the one to go for. friend had thermorest - which was SO noisy, so great all-rounder. Getting one for hubby as Patagonia next!
