As a teacher in a preschool, we are always looking for toys that combine fun and fine motor skills. My kiddos adore this toy to the point we had to buy another one!

My 20 month old granddaughter loves the buckles and the dog! I have to unbuckle for her and she will keep doing it over and over. Highly recommend!

Cute! Gets played with a lot!

My 2.5 year old LOVES it. Great for a car or plane ride. Was tough to get the standard buckles at first but she’s stronger now. Great for dexterity and finger strength. She gets all the buckles off then it’s “I need to count.” Can’t recommend this enough, excellent distraction.

I have an almost 13 month old who has had this toy for about 2 months and is really fascinated by buckles and trying to work them. He understands what he needs to do and probably has the dexterity but not yet the strength to push as hard as he needs to to get these buckles open and closed. Regardless, he enjoys the toy, likes to snuggle with it and bite its little nose. Because of the hardware (buckles) this is not one of those toys I would give to my kid in the carseat on the drive somewhere because he is a biter and chewer and I would be worried something would break off and become a choking hazard. With that said it is a well made toy and I think that kind of wear would only happen over time and to examine your kids' toy everytime you give it to them. He loves it, so I love it. I mean, hes one, and likes it enough to try to say BUCKLE DOG, as Ive been calling it.

My daughter is 18 months old. She loves Barkley. I bought him for Christmas because she has this habit of buckling any loose buckle in sight. Her high chair, her carseat, the stroller, fanny packs anything. I stumbled upon Barkley and thought she might enjoy it. She does! She loves the buckles. She can't do them all and she can't unbuckle any yet but it still keeps her busy. She squeezes him and holds him and now I don't have to worry about putting her into the carseat only to find it's already been buckled.

So soft and he loves the buckles.

Stopped my daughter playing with the pram buckles and just plays with this

Good quality but a bit pricey seeing as it has 5 buckles but only 3 types of buckles, buckles also take quite a bit of “man” power to und! Zipper works good and is good quality, it would be better if it had all of the basic shapes and numbers instead of random ones!Overall good for learning buckles and zipper!
