ALCYON Battery Organizer with Tester for 40 AA and 50 AAA Batteries

I love this battery case. It holds a lot of batteries, though I would’ve opt for more AA compartments than the CR batteries as I don’t use those much and usually just cut one off and leave the other unopened in the location I store batteries & other things. I love it has a battery tester so now I can determine with certainty which battery is good and which is bad compared to throwing them all away if they don’t work in a product. I got XL case and it doesn’t take up much space which is nice. I really like that it holds both AA and AAA batteries. You do have to remove all the inserts from the cutouts for the batteries which is very annoying but wasn’t too bad to remove.

This is a basic plastic case to store batteries. The batteries fit into slurs cut into the foam inner liner. The batteries are securely held in place, and they do not rattle around. The lid latches positively. The included battery tester works fine. The only drawback was having to punch out all the battery cutouts from the foam. It was not difficult to do that, but it was tedious., especially doing more than one.

I was looking for a storage box with compartments for my batteries like those used for storing ammo without realizing that if that kind of box fell to the ground while it was open, the batteries would spill. Fortunately Amazon also advertised this kind of box which was well thought out and keeps the batteries in a foam matrix where friction keeps them in. The included tester is also very good since it tests the batteries under load. The voltage can be high but the internal resistance of a used battery can be identified only under load. On the back of the tester is imprinted (black on black and hard to read) that the loads are 4 Ohm for the 1.5V batteries and 215 Ohm for the 9V. I measured the currents and they are 445 mA and 42 mA when the batteries are new. It is not clear for what button batteries the tester is designed since some are 3V and others are 1.5V. That is the only flaw I could find but all in all this a very good package.

Definitely Recommend! I was that person that kept the batteries in the packaging it in came in and every here and there id find my batteries rolling around in my drawer. Sometimes id mix my used and new batteries by accident but this definitely helped stay more organized! Batteries fit snug and dont roll around and obviously fits different brand batteries being there all the same size. The Battery Tester is a plus as well, as a parent whenever my kid needs batteries for his super loud anxious toys i know exactly which batteries have less juice thanks to the battery tester lol

Hold a lot of AA & AAA, good amount of coin batteries to. Fits in my junk drawer (top drawer in my bedroom), surprised it fit but it did and I'm happy. Case is like my old tackle cases, the tabs will break off someday but I will not be opening and shutting this box as often as a tackle box case. I'm pleased and the price was right.

All I wanted to do was store my rechargeable batteries in an organized manner. This product well exceeded my expectations. It holds my batteries securely, the case is sturdy, and the battery testing gizmo that comes with it is an outstanding addition. Now I can confirm what is charged and which ones need more time on the charger without guessing. i can recommend this product without hesitation!

I like the battery case but it is broken upon receiving.
