Good size - makes it easy to hold and maneuver. Sturdy bristles, but not so hard that they feel as though they’re scratching me.

Best nail brush ever, period. Bristles are stiff, stand up, don't flatten out. I got the black one, I don't know if the bristles on the other colors are as well made. The only issue is it's BIG. Doesn't fit on a standard soap dish. I use a short high ball glass on the counter and stand it up. [Actually has a smaller footprint that way.] I'm buying my 3rd one to give to a friend. Works really well to clean deep under fingernails.

This brush is a bit larger than your standard fingernail brush, but it does a fantastic job, is easy to keep clean, and doesn't rot or mildew like wooden ones. I have bought others for other purposes: vegetable scrubber, grout scrubber, stain scrubber. These brushes are top notch!

Good brush for hands and nail. Doesn't work so well for scrubbing laundry as bristles are not very thick.

I read a lot of reviews for nail cleaning brushes before I bought this wood. The bristles are, in my opinion. The perfect level of firm and soft. It gets the job done and sturdy and well built.

At first, I thought this brush was not as good as the grocery store ones with the curved handles. Those ones are super easy to grip with the curved handle, unless you have large fingers. The finger grip allows for good agility as you can effortlessly use your fingers and your wrist to position the brush just right. I didn't appreciate the palm grip needed for the Vikan brush, as it felt like it blunted the scrubbing. Well, it's not good to apply the technique for one brush to a brush of a different design. I learned that the good way to scrub with this Vikan brush, is to palm-hold it in one hand, while using the opposite hand with the dirty fingernails .... to glide back and forth along the bristles. That way, you can use the hand being scrubbed to work with agility across the whole wider surface of the Vikan brush. And voila, that takes advantage of the palm grip and the wider brush!! If you use the gripping hand to brush, it feels like you're scrubbing all of your fingers and knuckles because the brush is so wide ..... but if you instead just hold the gripping hand with brush steady and glide the fingernails being scrubbed, it changes everything and makes it efficient!!! So now I'm glad I got this brush and since I got an extra one for a gift, I can let the gift receiver know the best way to use this brush!! I love things like this which are kind of like luxury items (only because you can get by without them), but are so useful that you love having them and would buy them again if needed. I don't think anyone should torture themselves by doing things the hard way, when a good quality brush like this changes everything and is appreciated. Now that I see the beauty in how this brush is used, I think it's wonderful and I recommend it to all who are reading this!!

High quality with stiff bristles. Works great for cleaning paint off my hands.

I recently purchased one of these nail brushes in black and then purchased another in white. They are the best nail brushes I have used, although my husband who works in the building industry prefers a stiffer brush (see my reviews for the one he prefers) But this one is perfect for me. Love the size of it. I didnt even know I wanted a larger one than the usual options, until I got this one and found it easier to use than the tiny ones I have had in the past. It's not too soft and not too hard. I wish it was available in pale grey to match my bathroom, or a pale green. The bright colors are intense but I am happy that they have black and white at least although they are a bit boring next to all the brights which would be great in a kids bathroom. I will buy another for my kitchen sink and one for my son. Hope they never discontinue them because I can't imagine finding another one as good.

These are large & great for nail brush also larger than typical nail brushes so suitable as a small scrubbing brush for tight areas note * they're not as stiff as old bristle brushes for scrubbing but as good as any nylon bristle brushes. They're hard enough but not so hard they hurt delicate hands... I find most others are too soft & they rust... these look permanently new really. The hang hole is a great idea too. Pack of 2 suited me for kitchen bathroom , though the pennies discount for multi buy was not encouraging. I'm delighted with them.
