Yes. These are great building bases. We have a couple of different brands of these size blocks. No issues.

can you get them all the same color?

At this time we only have them in the multi-color 4 pack.

How well does this work with Mega Bloks 1st builders blocks?

While they may not work with all Mega Blocks, we tested them at home with our kids' Mega Blocks and they were compatible.
