NV-1000 Glasses by Natures Pillows: Virtually Indestructible, Perfect for Any Weather, Yellow Glasses Block Nighttime Glare, Reduces Eye Strain

The price on the glasses is a little expensive. The glasses are cheaper, but the shipping hurts a little, and with all the stores carrying ``as seen on TV" products, its hard to get them on Amazon is filling the order, and the order can be bundled up and Amazon giving s a hand. Other than that, I love them. Naturally the frames feel a little flimsy, but what do you expect from 10 dollar glasses. When I say flimsy, I not saying that they are falling off your face, there just light and need to be adjusted ever SO SLIGHTLY to each face. The nose guards, and maybe the tilt of the entire frame, and that sounds worse than it is, but they do take care of light issues. I wear them all the time. Day time and nighttime.I treat them as if they were a pair of shooting glasses in the day time, and at night I let them do their job. In the day time they will not block out intense sun, but then what will. At night, be sure to put them on as soon as you get in the car, so your eyes start to adjust to how they effect the light you'll be encountering during your trip. On one rainy, overcast day, they were a God send. It was like someone turned on the lights just for me. It was great. Night times are fine also. High beams coming at you are nullified. You definitely enjoy the ability to use more light at night, when it is most needed, on well lit or no lit roads.

I am, as a rule, a very sceptical consumer, when comes to new gadgets. I am 60+ guy with growing cataracta and my doc recommended me to try some kind of remedy to compensate for the headlight glare my eyes are becoming susceptible of. I never heard of yellow glasses until I start searching on for one on Amazon. The price looked right for the try. I used them for a few days now and I'm very impressed by the improvements in my night vision, but also, in significant improvement in fog penetration. I was able to increase my speed from 30 miles per hour to 50 miles and hour with much more confidence and feel of safety. I feel like a "king of the road" when I pass by the other drivers not wearing yellow glasses. The picture is taking getting used to, as it has "unnatural" yellowish haze, but I can see the road and other cars quite crisp and clear and at least 3 times the distance. I also used them for the night driving, and I was satisfied with the amount of headlight glare they suppress, but I'd still want to add a reflective mesh to help with the hi-beam lights of the cars behind me. I bought the mesh too and will try it shortly. I'll add my post shortly.

I have now used these quite a bit; including a fair amount of night-driving on a recent 3400 mile road trip. I still go back-n-forth between using them and taking them off. In short, I think the night view improvement is just slight. But, they definitely help with the nuisance-drivers who operate those nasty blinding (and in some places, illegal) headlights and those who refuse to dim them. That, and the otherwise slight night view improvement make these worth having handy. For me, I find the night view improvement most beneficial generally in the early evening when it's just getting dark and so difficult to see. They seem to be made well and, I think they will last for me - - - I am pretty easy on my glasses. Don

These glasses will turn white headlights to yellow & HID blue headlights to a greenish it does help reduce glare & eye strain. But it also isn't a miracle worker either. Understand that some lights are just to bright & these glasses will not help as much. But normal headlights this thing works.great. If you asked me if I'd go back to night driving without them.. I'd say no. I also used these at night during long gaming sessions it helps reduce the glare & eye strain from the brighter Led hdtv's

i dont notice much difference at all with them on as opposed to when their are off. People must be brainwashed by advertising to think these actually do much. They also are not stylish as some have suggested. You look like a special needs adult who should be locked in a padded room when wearing them. In the commercial they make it look like daylight in hd when wearing them and even though i expected that to be exaggerated it wasnt even close. Not only was vision not improved by anymore than maybe 5% but when cars are coming i pull them up to see a difference and there is barely one at all. All it did was change their light from white to yellow and did not help my night driving one bit. I am only 37 years old and have good eyes but my girlfriend likes 40 minutes away and i drive home sometimes at midnight when tired on a country road with deer since she lives outside ocean city NJ and its like a ghost town there half the year. Save your money on these they do not do much at all and i had a few people try them including my mom and no one said they helped.

My eyes have always been sensitive to lights and at times can trigger a migraine headache. emergency vehicles are hell on them and if it is night and/or raining, it is really bad. You can't even hardly look at them. ( who designed them?)I really did not expect much.I tried them in good weather and bad weather. It does not appear to degrade the night vision very much. It doesn't seem to drop the range. It was hard to tell. It does not to enhance your night vision, however it does seem to drop/change the light level of incoming car lights, which helps. With the new ultra bright lights it helps, but it still is difficult to see when they are coming at you in a two lane road.They are not great, but they help a little

If they changed the description to overcast, rainy day glasses I'd give it 4 stars, maybe. The glasses seemed to me to make it easier to see details in the rain on a recent road trip. But for night view, don't waste your time. It doesn't seem brighter, nor clearer. I get that they're cheap and I shouldn't expect much. But if a blender does everything but blend, I would give it two stars or less as well.

They are great in the rain. Not too bad at night either. They aren't made any cheaper than any other drugstore or Walmart sunglasses which is what I usually buy because I lose them or scratch them up all of the time. These live in the car, not in my purse.I worked in a clean room under yellow lights for many years. I put these glasses on and instantly remembered how much easier on the eyes yellow light is.I had them on my face on a dull day. It was as if the sun had come out but without the glare of the bright sun.Since they are yellow and do not darken, I find myself with them on in the grocery store after work which looks kinda stupid to have sunglasses on at midnight.For me they are great, the price was right and they do the job.

Love these things. Irk about them helping me see at night but I really like them regardless

I ordered these shades for a costume idea. They have a nice tint and are great for price point.However, Im a pretty tall guy, so these aviators are a little small. The arms are tilted inward slightly, making them feel a little tight. Im sure they will stretch over time!
