Review: I've now got more HDMI ports with full 5.1 sound!! - Like many other people, i have been running out of HDMI ports on my TV and/or the multi-channel amplifier system. I prefer to feed my various devices to the TV via the amplifier, for the 5.1 sound outputs. I had run out of HDMI ports on the amp and was feeding the Nintendo Switch, PS3 & PS4 on an as-needed basis via a single spare HDMI port on the TV. The picture was great of course but not the full sound those systems can deliver. Using this 4 In 1 Out HDMI Switcher, i can now feed the above 3 devices into the HDMI Switchei and into a HDMI port on the amp. Now whichever dives is on is automatically linked to the amp for full picture and sound. Now for example, the PS4 gives me full HD DTS Master Audio sound output. So now on the PS4 in Doom VR, you can actually hear the bad guys behind you. Or I simply fire up one of the other games platforms for full picture & sound with no loss of quality. Am i pleased I found this 4 In 1 Out HDMI Switcher? A definite YES Review: HDMI Switcher That Does What It Says - My son's monitor has only one HDMI input. He needed a solution so that he didn't have to keep on unplugging and plugging in HDMI cables from his gaming consoles. We decided on this little device, after a bit of research. "Little" is the operative word. It can fit in your hand pretty easily. The device comes with a handy "credit card" style remote control, with only the essential power and input switching buttons. It looks and feels flimsy but does the job. The device itself is simple to set up - plug in your HDMI cables into any of the 4 inputs and single output, attach the provided USB micro B cable to the unit and the provided plug, press the power button on the unit, and your good to go. The unit also has an input selector button, in case you lose the remote. We've had this switcher for a few months now. It hasn't failed to do its job yet. There are a few things to be aware of, though: 1. The USB micro B cable provided is not long enough. It's about 0.5m. I recommend you buy a longer one, unless the box is to be placed very close to a socket. 2. The unit is extremely light. HDMI wires will pull it around. It's a shame it isn't heavier. We use a paperweight on top, to keep it in place. 3. From the picture, I expected the unit to have green LEDs to indicate power on and input selected. The LEDs on our unit are red. A minor point, but we kept on thinking the unit was on standby because that's what a red LED means to us. Summing up, it does the job well.

Really good switching device
Perfect device. Only drawback is you have to point the remote directly at the device with clear uninterrupted view. Otherwise it wonโt switch. Little frustrating as where itโs positioned I have to stand up to get a clear signal

Great product.
This is a great little product and work as intended. Great picture quality with no issues whatsoever. I see some users here rushing to claim the HDMI channel switches on its own and that it's the product fault, however, it's their own TV or other devices that have HDMI settings for 'auto-detect' or 'smart-plug' on. As soon as those as disabled, that stops happening. Just go for it and don't forget to switch off the automatic settings for HDMI on your TV and other devices.

Nice product but has flaws
Simple to use, I donโt recall a plug coming in the box but will check. Ok the PS4 it cuts out on high res feeds, it handles the feed from the Nintendo switch ok. If the cutting out continues I will contact the seller

Nice box
Easy to install works first time. I need this switch to work with my Samsung which has only 1 MHL HDMI socket, need that for 4K , with this switch I have my 4K Fire Stick and Virgin V6 and for good measure my BluRay player also plug into it. Really easy with the remote don't have to get up and push the button to change. Good value for money. Edit : It causes interference of the TV freeview reception, very very poor shielding, when power is on I lose 23 freeview channels, turn it off, its back again. It may be causing the Virgin to reboot, for 2 day since I installed the switch, when I turned on the Virgin V6, it rebooted. Can't use it on my setup. Three star off !!! More Edit: It causes my Samsumg TV to turn on as soon as I switched the TV off !!! No using it any more. Trashed !!! I do not recommend this switch.

great little product
This was perfect as my tv only had 2 HDMI ports and we have sky, dvd, switch and Wii so cables being un plugged. This is very small but nicely made. It automatically selects the input port when the input device is switched on so most of the time you dont need the remote. The lights on the front indicate which port is active. My only complaint is that its such a light product and when the cables are in, they dominate its resting location ie it doesn't stay where you put it! I had to glue a bracket underneath to fix it to the tv stand.

It does what it's supposed to
Having previously had a button triggered 3 to 1 HDMI connector on the side of my TV, I was in the market for a remote controlled equivalent. I took a gamble on this one and have been pleased. Interestingly, it's clever enough to activate linked devices (surround sound) when actually feeding BD images through to the TV. Thus it replaces the broken HDMI slots on my Panasonic TV really well.
