Pork Crackling - Garlic

I was so happy to find both gluten and msg free pork scratchings, I thought because of that then there might be a compromise in taste. Not at all. Maybe I have to add here that I love garlic, but I tried all the flavours of these and liked the garlic ones the most. They are so tasty and more - ish. There were 'scratchings' to suit all tastes, thick and crunchy, light and puffy, soft, meaty and all delicious. It's worth the extra money to have no lurking nasties, filler etc and just top quality ingredients and these are an indulgence after all! If I had any slight criticism then it would be that there was a lot of flavour/powder/salt left at the bottom of the bag than you would expect (about 2 inches worth) and that perhaps being a bit more sparing with that and the salt would be an inprovement, but this might just be down to individual taste. I will definitely be buying these again (and again and again) in the future.

If they were a really lovely distanct taste ... Wouldn't have resented paying the expensive price for 250g. However ... They did not taste of garlic at all!!! So paid £8.99 for 250g which I would never normally do. So very expensive basic product rather than a "worth paying more" treat. Shame, because if nice was going to try all the flavours. Because it's a food product can't even get a refund :/ so will just put it down to expensive mistake.

These lasted about two days in our house, really great flavour, really nice pieces which will appeal to all fans of pork scratchings, whatever it is about the snack that particulary appeals. The bag they are supplied in is fine, keeps them fresh, stops mess, can be opened with mess but its not the reseal type. The portion size is good, in our house the smaller, bags of "pub snack" or "lunch box" multi-snack type are regularly bought and consumed, quickly, this bag lasted a lot longer and was popular with everyone in the household. Personally, it was great to try the garlic flavour, its not my favourite but its a matter of taste and they do not aggrivate the thirst too much. They are perhaps not the healthiest of snacks, if you are seeking to avoid fats, although they are not sugar rich like a lot of alternatives, and a source of proteins maybe. I have given these four rather than five stars as I thought there was a lot of "powdery" or "small bits" in the bad, even when you up ended it or shook it to mix the contents up a bit before putting them in a bowl. Initially I had thought about giving them the full five stars but I have sampled a rival brand since which did not have quite so much of this content. Then again, you may prefer this.

They were okay, I ate them. Would I order again? Probably not. They were way too salty, didn’t taste like garlic, maybe a hint. Way overpriced too.

Not impressed salty but had a after taste as if the pork was burnt not a pleasant taste in the mouth had to get a glass of water and threw the rest of them out

I know they are only pork scratchings but at this price level you expect something a little better, hardly any flavour very puffy, no rind and the quality of the pig skin was lacking crunch, shame as I had high hopes.

This is a food product. Was not packaged to make sure it is safe and far from any contamination. Delivered and was left in the hallway. Not even handed to recipient even if there was someone in the flat. Food safety is important but i guess the sender dont realise this. The taste is too salty.

Very pricey... a pack so small for £9.99
