I'm amazed at the sound quality these kits produce. No distortion at full volume. Easy to assemble and affordable as well. I was messing around with CAD and a 3D printer and drew up a full case with Speaker and internal mounts. Turned into a fun project and wouldn't have been possible without this quality kit.

It was somewhat overwhelming for my 7 year old to assemble alone but with help he managed to do it. It's a great speaker that does work. We've been able to successfully connect various devices to it.

This 'build yourself' blue tooth speaker is simply amazing! It was a lot of fun to put together with knowing that it was something you built all by yourself. The instructions were very comprehensive and easy to understand. The materials are very sturdy and of exceptional quality. And the sound is absolutely superior for a speaker of its size. It's crystal clear even when turned all the way up. The compact size of this speaker makes it perfect to place anywhere when you need a little music in your life. I highly recommend it for all ages from 9 to 99.

Overall, this was a fun little STEM kit for our son to put together for Christmas. I did have to help him get the last wood side on because the tabs were a little hard to get lined up perfectly and he was afraid he would crack it if he pushed too hard. Otherwise, it was a great little kit to put together on a rainy day.

I bought this for my ten year old grandson. He put it together totally on his own in about 40 minutes. All I provided were a couple of small screwdrivers to tighten the screws. Then, to the amazement of this little old lady, he programmed my iPhone so the music selections played on the newly constructed blue tooth speaker. And the sound wasn't bad, certainly good enough for my ears. Of course, he wants to take it home with him so now I have to order another for him to put together for me. The possibilities are endless - music or podcasts where I never had them before without having to have my iPhone right on my person!

I bought this as a gift for a 14 year old. He said it was too easy and put it together in maybe 5 minutes. The Bluetooth connectivity works, so now he has a speaker for his phone. I'm thinking I should have bought this for him when he was 10.

Got this for my niece for the holidays! She is 10 and was able to assemble most of it on her own, with a little help from Dad. Her audiophile father said “ It sounds pretty good for a basic speaker ” which is high praise coming from him! Definitely worth considering!
