I had a rim rusted on to my car. After trying everything I could think of for days. I oder these 3 jaw gear puller in the morning they arrived by 5pm. With in seconds of having my car jacked up the rim was off.

The only people who leave a lost score for these are people who are not familiar with how to use that's all and who expect it to magically easily work in every condition. That's not what these tools work you have to be patient you have to be able to work the tool with both of your hands and you have to be patient with getting proper positioning. So there are people who leave 1 star and 3 stars and it doesn't work properly and all this other stuff whereas the truth is they don't know how to use it. I've been working around cars and mechanical things all of my life and for the money you're not going to get any better than these and for the majority of people this tool will do fine. If you go to places like autozone you will get 1 of the 3 in this selection for the same price so this deal is a steal compared to other stores out there. So don't waste your time shopping around any further this is fine these are good for the majority of applications you just need to be patient because you cannot just magically snap these on to whatever it is you're trying to pull off and have it worked the first time it's a learning curve here with this and with any other version of it from any other manufacturer

Best for a more controlled, better center pull. Easy to operate once you’ve gotten it positioned correctly.

I had been looking for a bearing puller for mostly small machine maintenance and came upon this set that was within my budget. Bare in mind that I've never used this type of puller before so my first attempt, while successful, was extremely difficult because you've got three hooks that free float until they grab onto the inner or outer bearing shield making it difficult to tighten it down. Each of the hooks are double ended so, depending on where you want the hook to grab bearing, you have to remove the three hooks by removing the three nuts, turn it to the proper orientation and then reinstall the nut. This, at least for me, is very time consuming. Bottom line is: 1. They seem to be well made. The casted arms/hooks are solid and the main screw is machine well. 2. There's a lot of moving parts that make it difficult for one person to use without help.

I had already ordered one of these tools from another site because it was less expensive. It came in a big mess with no instructions and it was assembled incorrectly. I bought this set and it came with a manual. I used the smallest one to help me dislodge my glass cutter's grinder that I had accidentally left on the grinder, only for it to rust on. I sprayed the bit shank with WD 40 and left it on for a few days. When I used this tool, the bit came off. Now I can use my grinder again. Voila!

More robust, and heavier, than I was expecting for this price. These 3-leg pullers came partially disassembled, but they were so easy to quickly put together. I ordered these because my lawnmowers blade adapter had deformed and was stuck onto the shaft. No matter what I tried, I could not get it off. Once I attached the 6-inch puller, the fine threads made turning the screw effortless and the adapter came off in less than a minute. What a time and energy saver! A great addition to my toolbox to have if ever needed again

These are far from perfect. The big problem is you need a lot of clearance to use them.

Haven't used yet and didn't realize these were 3 jaw when I needed a 2 jaw. Very nice quality and will come in handy when needed.

The pullers may not be as heavily built as the tools of yesteryear, however, their fit and finish is exceptional particularly for their reasonable price and more importantly they work! The 8” puller was immediately put to work pulling off both rear bearing hub assemblies on our BMW X3 and it did the job with ease. The three jaw design certainly makes setup and operation more convenient than my two jaw pullers. Great tools at a reasonable price! I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase!

It has everything that you need to pull. Most pulleys. Very good product well built
