Do they make a girl version?

I searched after seeing another "yes" reply and they DO make a girl! My daughter will be so excited when our boy elf comes with a sister this year. We've had the cute boy elf since my son was little.

Is it plush material or smooth? Suitable for 6 mo old?

It has small beads for eyes, and glue was used on some of the clothing. I would not give it to a 6 month old. The tag says ages 3 and up.

Does this elf have beads in it?

There are beads only in the bottom torso of the elf, Everywhere else is cotton.
