I bought these tools last year and they are still serving me well! The shears were amazingly sharp and they are still serving me well. I love them. The seam ripper is still in use as well as the tape measure. The shears are good, but at some point the screw thingy that holds it together came out and I simply put it back together and occasionally have needed to tighten the nut on it. It works great for layers of fabric. I mostly use on cotton that is up to four layers in one cut. Nice and accurate too. This review is coming from someone who grew up with the dullest of dill scissors and finally discovered that quality is worth paying money...so my opinion might be somewhat more positive than than a scissor contisour might give. I thought these were amazing for the affordable price they are! Im surprised they lowered the prices since I last bought my pair. I don't regret how much I paid for them.
