Awesome
Great songs, vocals, music, and production. Easy listening with a funky punch. The cd begins with three classics - “Smooth Operator.” “Your Love Is King.” and “Hang On To Your Love.” The rest is tasty and beautiful. Uncracked case. Only downer is no lyrics and only the most basic information. If you love music, positive lyrics, and a transcendent voice, here it is.

An underrated singer with a standout album.
Sade just doesn't get the respect she deserves. Her breakout single "Smooth Operator" was a smash hit but we haven't heard a whole lot from her since. Every track on Diamond Life is great, and you can listen to it forever. She's as good in concert as she is on C.D. I just wish she could have produced more great music. Her voice and phrasing, as well as the band and production are top-notch. A very romantic sound-track for couples.

Beautiful CD By A Beautiful Singer!!!
This is a beautiful CD by a beautiful singer! 'Smooth Operator' is a great song and I liked the 'rap' at the beginning of the song; 'You're Love Is King' is a nice song; 'Hang On To Your Love' is another nice song about not losing the one you love; 'Frankie's First Affair' is a good song; I loved 'When Am I Going To Make a Living'; it's a fantastic song and I can most definitely relate to the lyrics (it reminds me of struggling to get by); 'Cherry Pie' is another fantastic song (Smooth Jazz song for sure!); 'Sally' is a nice song (a sad Smooth Jazz song); 'I Will Be Your Friend' is a very inspirational song and it reminds me of my friends; 'Why Can't We Live Together' is a cover of singer Timmy Thomas's song and Sade's version is okay even though the original version was about race relations. I feel Sade's version is about being in a relationship with her lover. The CD is a classic for sure and it will always be my favorite CD forever!
