National CycleCustom 41mm Fork Windshield Mount Kit KIT-CHM

Obviously I bought this hardware to mout a windshield to my motorcycle, the only issue I had was that the bolts could have been longer. So I did use longer ones to get the brackets lined up then removed them once I got a couple of the short ones tightened up. Other than that I had no issues and would recommend this product....

After reading the description looking at the picture and ordering these for my 03 Vulcan Classic I received a set of mounts for a bike with straight untapered upper fork tubes. I contacted the seller who quickly sent me a return label and a week or so later I had a mount that was just like the one pictured and fit my bike perfectly KIT - CHM Does NOT Fit a Bike with Tapered fork covers

installed on a 2004 Honda VTX. Worked great and easy to install

The rubber shims or spacers that go between the forks and brackets are pictured but not supplied. Called National Cycle and those don't come in the kit. You have to make your own

Don't really like the confusing instruction even though common sense really guides install with only a few parts to choose from. For the money I'm sure there better "quick detach" systems out there, unfortunately, this was the mount kit that went with shield I was willing to pay for. I like the shield but the mount kit is only so so at best.

This mounting hardware is Superior. Once attached and adjusted, it stays put. Very satisfied. Thanks.
