I am extremely impressed with the durability, strength, and overall quality of these Mr. Pen safety pins. I’ve lost 187 pounds over the last three years and, while I’m thrilled with the weight loss, I’ve been hesitant to invest in new clothes just yet due to concerns about potential weight fluctuations. Instead of sewing or tailoring my garments, I’ve been using these safety pins to take clothing in at the seams, and they have been absolutely perfect for that purpose. These pins are strong, secure, and reliable. They hold fabric firmly without bending or breaking, and they’ve even held up through both the washer and dryer with no issues at all. That alone speaks volumes about their quality. I previously purchased safety pins from the dollar store, and those would bend or snap just trying to pierce the fabric - completely unusable by comparison. The Mr. Pen Safety Pins Assortment is a great value if you need a lot of safety pins in a wide variety of sizes. The pins come securely packed in a small plastic container and come in five different sizes. They are well made enough to not warp when in use, but I will not they are not are durable as some safety pins I've used. They're not flimsy, but they're definitely not like the heavy-duty safety pins that won't bend under extreme pressure. As far as my uses, the safety pins get the jobs I need done, and at $6 for 300 pins with a storage box, it's a good value that I would recommend to anyone who needs safety pins on hand.
