Wow, this is the best one we'ver ever had.
We've bought a number of rice cookers over the years but this one has been fantastic. Cooked the rice perfectly from the first time we used it. The rice comes out completely cooked with no extra water hanging around and isn't dried out. No matter what the amount we put in the rice comes out perfect every time. We've had this unit for almost a year now. Hope, and we expect, it to keep going the same in the future. We definitely reccomend this rice cooker, we're very happy with it.

Cheapest stainless steel rice cooker available
I bought this specifically for camping and using it with my inverter. I have $300 stainless steel pot rice cookerfor home use and dont take that thing out of the house. I needed a cheap to rice cooker that I didn't mind bang around and possibly breaking while still having a stainless pot. Rice doesn't stick in stainless if you know how to cook it. While this doesn't have all the bells and whistles that my $300 does. This one is better than my crappy one I had back in college. Warm mode will burn rice if left too long. When it clicks, wait 5 minutes then unplug it. It will stay warm plenty long and won't dry it out or burn

Not the one
This one isn't going to work out unfortunately. I've used it 10 times now & still don't enjoy it. The rice sticks like crazy to the bottom. It's not non stick. What rice isn't stuck to the bottom turns out great everytime. This is a nice cooker but I can't get over the sticking.

Very good rice ma.er
I did not realize it was so big. I should have, but I guess my eyes got the better of me. This is ia basic rice maker. It does a very good job at what it is supposed too. But unrealistic to expect it to do what the top end rice makers will do. Buy for the price this will make a great pot of rice.

Nice cooker but slightly under cooks and burns when on warm
Bought this cooker to replace an older Tiger cooker. I chose this because of the stainless steel pot. I cooked some shirakiku white rice and for the most part it did well. Toward the bottom of the pot there were some under-cooked (crunchy but not burnt) rice. But over all it did well. I left the rice on warm overnight, which was a normal thing for the Tiger cooker, but ended up with a layer of brown burnt rice and very dry white rice on the top. I am not sure if this is due to the stainless steel pot or if its the cooker. I have cooked rice in an instapot and it works fine too but at times I need both at the same time. So I decided to return this and look for a newer Tiger cooker and will have to deal with the coated pot.

dumb cooker
I'm sorry I bought it. Only has one setting, I assume for white rice, I tried to cook brown rice and it came out half cooked. Will switch to from cooking to keep warm, no way to turn off, except pull the plug. It stayed in keep warm for a while and roached the bottom layer of partially cooked brown rice. The only good feature is the stainless steel inner pot. I'm going to keep it and see if it'll cook white rice well, that's why it's not 1 star.

This product is healthier and cleaner for you than teflon and other non-sticks. The rice doesn't stick or burn if you follow the directions correctly. Worth the money!
