Vuly Thunder Trampoline, Large

Okay, I didn't want to rush to judgement on rating this trampoline, but I'm 8 months in with it now, and I am so regretful that I spent the premium to buy this trampoline. On the surface, it is a very good design concept. As an engineer, I love the idea of the leaf springs in lieu of coil springs...makes a lot of sense and should be more robust. However, the achilles heal of this trampoline is the leaf spring design. They are incorrectly manufactured - they weld the leafs together, which doesn't allow them to float against themselves and creates a stress concentration for cracks to start. As a result, I have already replaced 30 broken leaf springs, and they keep on breaking (~1/week), with just my 120lb daughter jumping on it. I've tried my best to reach someone to at Vuly to discuss this issue, but they use a call center and you cannot get through to the company. Their resolution, after much pressure, was to send me more of the same leaf springs. They also screwed up twice sending me replacements, which adds to the aggravation (I now have three new jumping matts if anyone wants one!). So, I will eventually run out of poorly designed replacement springs once my warranty expires (because I will not put good money after bad), and I will have a $2,000 boat anchor in my backyard...Thanks Vuly, and thanks for your faulty advertising, poor engineering and terrible customer service. If you have any commitment to your product, please reach out to me, as I'd rather try to make this damn thing work than throwing it in the landfill.

Purchased this in December 2014. Safety net ripped in June 2017, their warranty is 2 years (even though we basically only used it for 2 seasons). Our usage has been minimal (I have 2 girls age 9 + 11)... They would not honor the warranty, and the 1/2 priced parts you read about online for life are not valid in the US (Vuly cannot ship the the US directly and the US distributor does not sell parts). Should have went with the $300 Trampoline option, could have bought 6 of them for this price.

Great trampoline! Incredible quality and design. You can really get a lot of rebound on this, both children and adults. My daughter and I are constantly on it. The outer net is tight and keeps it very safe. It is really good for exercise as well. Highly recommended.
