The price was right and I wanted a lot to experiment with and this fit the bill. It's not as smooth Nook, not fuzzy like yarn on the outside like some of the other cheaper cords I bought to experiment with. I'll be back for more I'm sure!

The 4mm is my go-to rope for macrame. It’s soft enough to be nice to work with, yet sturdy enough so you can undo it to fix errors. I will continue to purchase this whenever I need 4mm cord.

Great quality

I don't use this for macrame. I use it to making the warp on my twining frame instead of using strips of cloth and all the fraying that brings with it. Very good warp and makes very good rugs. Twining is a way to make rag rugs without a loom. Just a framed with a row of nails at the top and the bottom and you thread this cord from one nail to the other, top to bottom to top etc. Nice cord with which to work. Then you manipulate strips of cloth on the warp and twine your rug.

I’ve used this rope before and like it for its softness. This roll was delivered damaged.

I am a beginner to macrame and bought this to begin experimenting with projects- I found it very soft and easy to use at 3 mm. It is a good size in general and great to start out with as you can see some of my beginner trial projects in the photos! I would recommend taping the ends of the string when working as it can fray some.

Rope was exactly as in picture, only thing is it was not coiled around a reel (don't know what you call it).But it wasn't tangled either as it was neatly wound and tied.

First time buyer. Quality looks good, just not impressed how it came in the box.
