Lots of hype
Overall quality is questionable but switchable tones is a big plus

What an embarrassment to use…
I purchased this to trace wires in a machine that was shipped back to the USA. I had hoped it would help me trace any/all unmarked wires through out the machine. The first time I attempted to use it I got feedback on all wires in the area. The ONLY clear tone was at the leads. They spoke of how great it was for tracing wires. Well they must have used the only working unit they make. I was so embarrassed using this in front of my customer claiming how “this tool will save time” recommissioning their machine. What a joke of a product.

Wand 5 star
The wand is frankly one of the best I've used. The tone generator, not so much. Really like the klien tone generator over this cheap pos. My cable iq sends out the strongest tone of everything I got.
