This thing is a beast!!! I was skeptical until I put it into use! Anything in its path gets zapped. My only real surprise is the sound made with an insect gets zapped! It sounds like a .22 bullet going off! Yes, I would recommend this product for use.

This is in my garage, which is open from sunrise to Sunset for my dogs entertainment-in the southern Delta. Controls mosquitoes and flies, important because my three dogs are frequently in and out of a doggie door leading to my kitchen. Comes with two replacement bulbs Which are very easy to install. One has been going since the first day and the other had to be replaced because of operator error. This runs 24 seven in my garage. It is very loud when it zaps, While doing some renovation, the flies got into the kitchen, so I moved it indoors. Loud enough to startle. But the flies were cleared out within a matter of hours. The only reason I had to change one bulb is because I forgot to unplug it when I was cleaning the grill with a tiny paint brush and got a bit of a zap. Be warned, not enough to turn it off, unplug it To clean the GRILL . Tho can Just turn it off to empty the collection tray on the bottom Of the unit, slides easily in and out, is made of quality plastic that is very easy to wipe clean

The last two that I had failed. In one, the lighting board failed and the other, the zapper board failed. I took the zapper board out of the unit that had the failed lighting board and installed it in the unit that had the failed zapper board and the unit now works. No problem at this time. I also ordered a new unit and the quality appears to have improved in the basic structure. Hopefully, the lighting and zapper boards will work well in the new unit.

Disappointed. Worked for 4 months. Then both bulbs went out within a couple of weeks of one another. So I turned to the spares provided and neither bulb is lighting up! I’ve tried rotating to different positions but it makes no difference. I’ve replaced many overhead dual prong fluorescent lights and ballasts in my day and it’s not rocket science. I know the unit is getting power as it still shocks, but the lights don’t work to draw in insects. Now I’ve got to take the unit to e-waste. What a waste.

Good garage unit to keep the flys from getting inside the house

This is probably the BEST purchase I have ever made with Amazon!I live on an acre of land. I have chickens, guineas, dogs and an assortment of uninvited varmints.This seems to be the most fly infested year we've had.This zapper unit ts nothing but FABULOUS!!I can't believe how many flies it kills in a day!It is well worth the purchase price!

This bug zapper works well. My only dislike is that it is Really Loud when it zaps a bug. I'm hard of hearing and my 13 y.o. dog is almost deaf and it makes both of us jump when it zaps! It wakes my poor old guy up from a sound sleep when it zaps!The good news is that it gets those pesky flies and mosquitoes. The clean up is easy. If the bug hasn't been blown to bits, its dead carcass is in the easily removable tray for dumping. I'm thinking I'll move this to the covered back porch and get something a little less noisy for the living room.Would I recommend it for indoor use? Maybe. I've had this for a week and still jump when it zaps, so maybe not. For a covered outdoor use? Absolutely. Keep in mind that it is for Indoor use so if you put it outside, be sure it is protected from the weather.

These work great and are inexpensive.

Es lo mejor que hemos comprado. Desde el primer día ha matado moscas, mosquitos de esos gigantes y unos bichitos pequeños que no sé qué son. La verdad que el ruido que hace cuando algún bicho se pega es grande y mis perros están muy asustados, pero es el mejor aparato que hemos comprado. Lo recomiendo.

Alırken çok araştırdım, verilen paraya değecek bir ürün almak istedim , bahçede kullanıyoruz ve artık sinek ilacı kullanmaktan kurtuldum. Evet sineklerin yanma sesi biraz yüksek çıkıyor ama alisiyorsunuz böyle bir performans beklemiyordum o kadar memnun kaldım ki tüm çevreme anlattım ve öneriyorum mutlaka her eve gereken bir ürün hiç düşünmeden alın aldirin!
