Makes DELICIOUS bread! 🍞
Using this flour to make bread is so satisfying because it's great quality and packed with nutrients, unlike traditional flour you find at the store. The bread is so yummy! The flour is a bit pricey but I think it's worth investing in your health.

Good organic flour
Really like this flour. Especially that it is organic and hopefully not sprayed with glyphosate like much wheat is that is used in flour. Not much difference in price of other higher brand flours. I am not the greatest sourdough baker (still learning) but I did think this flour gave the bread a better taste and worked well.

The Heritage Blend That Takes My Sourdough to the Next Level
The quality of the ingredients is immediately obvious from the moment you open the bag, and the fact that it is an organic heritage blend makes a massive difference in the final loaf. The best part for me is that this flour does not upset my stomach like most standard store-bought flours do, which has made bread-making enjoyable again. It makes my homemade sourdough bread so tasty and well-formed with a beautiful rise and a rich flavor that you just cannot get from highly processed alternatives. Knowing I am using a cleaner, more traditional flour blend gives me a lot of peace of mind, and the results speak for themselves in every bake! This is a five-star product for anyone looking for a high-quality flour that is actually gentle on the system.

Great for Sourdough
Absolutely love this flour, I just started making sourdough and it has been absolutely great for that. I do have a severe gluten intolerance and since using this bread for making my sourdough loaves I have not had a bad reaction to it which has been great! It is a bit more expensive but totally worth the cost!

High quality heritage wheat, organic and fresh!
My son makes Artisan sourdough bread twice a week with this flour and it’s beautiful and full of flavor. ❤️ He started this a couple of months ago. I had to find a way to get my husband to stop eating that crap chemical laden fake bread at the store, which started giving him gut issues, and I have a grandchild that is gluten intolerant. Although I love making bread myself, I still work and don’t have the time or energy. So, I pulled out my Zojirushi bread machine from storage. I’m using the machine’s basic bread recipe to make regular sandwich bread for that purpose and for French toast. I adjusted the flour to liquid ratio to 66% hydration, in case you’re wondering (I weigh in grams). No gut issues, no bloating. The flavor is outstanding. I typically purchase directly from Sunrise Flour Mill, however, we sometimes run out as we have added cinnamon raisin bread to our baking, and getting the flour from Amazon is quite fast. I’m considering doing this more often as it could be more cost effective shipping wise. Plus, the grind date is on the bag, so you know it’s pretty fresh!

Excellent Choice for Quality Bread
The flavor of this flour in bread is outstanding. I am a beginner at bread baking and have been exploring different flours and how they affect the whole process and outcome. I’ve been exploring heritage wheat flours. While the heritage wheat is so delicious, I was looking for one that would have more gluten for a better rise. This is it. We purchased this flour because we were looking for truly healthier options. I am trying to make healthy choices for my family and this was an excellent choice. To my surprise, my first dough seemed sticky all the way to the oven but the crumb was perfect and the flavor good. Next time I will try a little less water to see if I can get a better proof. But I am very pleased with this flour and will certainly keep buying it as I work on my bread baking skills.

Gluten-sensitive kid can eat this with no issues
My son, who otherwise has been having digestive issues and opts to be gluten-free, is able to eat things I make with this flour. He's had no issues, and it's so nice to be able to have real baked goods everyone can eat again. My breads turn out really nice, and strange as it may sound, this ferments differently in my sourdough starter. It smells better than conventional flour and doesn't turn grayish on top as quickly.

Hello, real un-fooled-around-with wheat!
I am gluten intolerant, and I'd been told in the past that I might be able to tolerate heritage wheat. I was unwilling to take the chance at the time. After over a decade of eating gluten-free bread products, I decided to try this out. I got the 2.5# bag of bread flour and made a loaf of bread and pizza crust. I suffered no ill effects and the taste and texture are amazing, better than the bread I used to make. The price is comparable to the gluten-free flours, so buying & using Sunrise flour is absolutely worth it for me. I'm so happy I can eat wheat again, as long as I am making the food with this flour. I will continue to eat gluten-free outside my own home, and make gluten-free food for others who can't eat gluten. People diagnosed with celiac should be very careful about experimenting with any kind of wheat, because that's not the same as gluten intolerance. I have just received my 5# bags of bread flour and all-purpose flour and signed up for a subscription on each. I will update my review as necessary, and will review each of the Sunrise products as I try them. I hope Amazon starts stocking all of them, because Prime delivery doesn't cover all the products they list. The Sunrise website offers products that you can't get through Amazon, and although shipping is not free, it's very reasonable.
