Good Grips 3-in-1 Egg Separator

I've been impressed by Oxo products for many years because work so well, so I decided to try this egg separator. I don't think I've ever before separated a yolk from its whites so cleanly, easily, or quickly.

This egg separator does its job, but it’s not as flawless as I hoped. The design is clever, and it’s nice that it hooks onto bowls, but the performance is hit or miss. 🔹 Functionality When it works, it cleanly separates yolks from whites. However, I found that sometimes the yolk breaks or a bit of white slips through. It’s also bulkier than a simple handheld separator, so it takes up more space than expected. 🔹 Build & Ease of Use The materials feel durable and it’s easy to clean, but it doesn’t always fit securely on every type of bowl. It’s more useful for standard mixing bowls than smaller ones. ✅ Pros: Sturdy and easy to clean Clever hook design for bowls Makes separating eggs less messy (when it works properly) ❌ Cons: Inconsistent results — yolks can slip through or break Bulky compared to simpler separators Doesn’t fit all bowl types snugly Overall: It’s a decent tool for occasional use, but not as reliable as I wanted. A simple metal or handheld separator may work just as well — or better — for less money.

Love this OXO Egg separator, it easily hooks over a variety of bowls, containers for easy use. So Glad I bought it. Easy to clean + also Dishwasher safe!

I love OXO kitchen tools and when I saw this one - especially that you can stick it on the edge of the bowl , I was like "This is what i want . Nope . The quality is great as always but this thing has so big holes that most of the times the yolk pass through the holes also . So much for an egg separator ....

It should be priced around 150 to 200. It is not a product which should be priced at Rs 350.

Good choice

Used it for nearly 2 weeks, 8 out of 10 times (80%) the yoke slips through. Not satisfied with the main function which supposed to be separating the yolk.
