This is perfect if you know what you're getting into. This is a mini safe. It's very basic box to increase privacy deter theft by reducing temptation and knowledge of what's in here the first place. How long would this take a trained lock pick to pick this? 5 seconds. How long would it take someone with a good mallet and screwdriver to knock this open? Maybe 3 minutes on a bad day. How long to cut the tether designed to anchor this thing in place? 15 seconds with bolt cutters. It's basically a glorified metal lunchbox. But that's FINE If you're going to fault it for this, you're missing the point. It's $20 and weighs just 1.5 lbs. If you wanted this to be better then it'd be an entirely different. It lets you tote things around in a way that someone who wants to do you wrong really has to be overtly committed to doing you wrong. It's great for making sure important stuff like a passport or social security card doesn't get thrown away by small children. Or a dodgy (but not incredibly criminal) employee of yours doesn't pilfer your petty cash in a moment of weakness. I will note it gets rather tight on the inside especially with the insert provided, just 5.25 inches in width, barely fits a CD case. The insert pops out and you can get closer to 5.9 inches on the bare metal interior.

College dorm must have for important papers! Combo lock so no concern for lost keys. No kid wants a bulky safe but this box slides in the back of a drawer and all important documents are in one spot. I’m hoping not to test fire or waterproofing!! 😳 I am not sure how well this box would hold up to actual thieves trying to get into it as it doesn’t feel super thick but for a cheap, small protective box that would deter theft and loss, this is amazing!

I ordered this as a travel safe, to take with me on trips to store spare credit card and copies of my papers -- nothing valuable, but out of prying eyes. However due to my own miscalculation of the size, it was bigger than I expected, too large to take along. So I put it to another use. It's the right size to store CDs & DVDs; it holds 30+ of them (in thin sleeves, not jewel cases). I use it to store computer backups at a relative's house. I want to keep a spare backup of my important files offsite in case of a catastrophe, but I don't want anyone able to peruse my tax records, etc. This safe fits the bill. It could be opened easily with a screwdriver, but I'd know it was broken into. And the tether means it should stay put. (The tether could be cut with tin snips, but again I'd know.) I think that a nosy relative or visitor would be deterred from snooping by the fact that they'd be found out. So I'm happy with the purchase. The safe arrived on time, correct price, in excellent condition. The set-able combination works fine (though I've only opened it a few times). The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the safe wouldn't be difficult to get into. Using it as I am -- basically a knowledge deterrent rather than a hard physical deterrent -- it's a great product.

If you are looking for lightweight sturdy durable safe, then this is the safe for you. It is compact but has plenty of room for cash, medical and credit cards, and prescriptions. It also comes with a cable so you are able to secure your safe virtually anywhere. I don't ever have to worry about my grandchildren getting hold of our RX and possibly harming themselves. It's also great to just pick the safe up and take it with you when you travel I just put my safe in the RV secure it with the cable and I'm done no worries. It is a comfort knowing that if anything happened to one of us, we got sick and needed medical attention we know exactly where our medical information is, and our Rx too. There is no need to be going through drawers and luggage trying to find all of this information when it's already tucked away in a safe place. When we want to go sightseeing we put our credit cards, cash, checks and wallets, in our safe and again no worries and we can enjoy our time admiring the scenery. Plus the bonus of having a 3 digit combination no worries about losing keys and being unable to get into your safe. This safe is very reasonable for the price you get a strong durable safe that isn't a hassle to move to one room or to another place. The cable is very strong and durable. It is a comfort knowing that you're safe is not going anywhere I would definitely recommend this safe to others, in fact I already have recommended the safe to a friend of mine.

I purchased 2 and would repurchase items again! I was looking for a smaller box bt this was smallest I could find, in this particular style/look. So far so good and I use 1 of them multiple times a week

Muy bien para cosas pequeñas . Un celular de 5.5" cabe bien, pero apenas sobra como un cm entre el celular y la pared interna a lo alto. Fácil de programar la clave y muy útil el cable para anclarlo a algo fijo. Satisfecho con mi compra !

I like that it is mechanical and does not use batteries. I don't think it would be hard to break it open, but at least it is a better place to keep your keys, than just leaving them lying around.

Boa qualidade. Bom tamanho. Veda bem. Vem com um manual, 2 chaves, um cabo de aço. Cabe bem o celular e outros itens de valor de igual tamanho. Espaçoso.
