Fantastic For left and right window openings These will let you window open around 7cm and the cats can’t get out. Can also be unclipped so windows can be opened fully. Really robust construction and very well designed, Good value for money. The only negative I encountered fitting these was the the red backing tape was a bit of a struggle removing but not on all of them. Overall I’m very happy and easy enough to install

I found this product when looking for a solution to a problem we had with the side opening bathroom window continually blowing wide open as the side of the house seems to create some kind of wind tunnel that made the window virtually unusable. I tried this one as it did not require drilling and didn't need to be messed with every time we open the window. It is ridiculously easy to fit, follow the instructions exactly and you'll find it probably takes you longer to read the 4-5 step instruction diagrams than it does to fit them. It helpfully also comes with spare adhesive strips if you make a mistake or need to remove or reposition it in the future. Once fitted you open the window as normal and it automatically locks in place, stopping it blowing open or closed and also effectively stopping any cats (or kids!) escaping out of the window. To close you need to disengage the lock as you pull the window closed so closing it becomes a two-handed job (it is a smooth process as long as you aligned it correctly per the instructions when fitting). It is also easy to unclip the lock if you ever need to fully open the window. Despite the price of these they are a great design and do exactly what they promised. You still get a good amount of airflow and your windows are secure from being caught in the wind. I was so impressed with my purchased I bought 4 more to lock all the front windows in the house as we have cats that are only allowed out in the back garden. It is great to have all the windows open in the summer without having to worry about escapees, one of our cats now likes to sit with her paws out of the upstairs window and watch the world go by... Whether it is to keep animals in, protect children, or just to stop the wind catching your windows this product has you covered...

Does exactly what I wanted stops window opening too far out. Very pleased. Also I feel happier knowing my grandchildren can’t fall out.

Quick and easy to install if you take care, best done with window open to ensure positioning is where desired. Seems very strong and fits well. Pretty fair price on a double pack at least - you could do better with cost with another option, but it wouldn’t be as aesthetically pleasing. Be sure to degrease the surface area where you’d like to fix the restrictor. Use warm water, washing up liquid on a sponge/cloth, dry off with cloth or kitchen roll. This will ensure the adhesive can bond in the strongest possible way.

Really impressed with these, really easy to fit and seem secure. Can now open the windows without the worry of the cats getting out. Exactly what I was looking for. Bought the two pack which was good value.

This is probably the best thing I have bought for the house in the last 5 years. We have three young kids, and in the hotter months we always wrestle with ourselves about leaving the balcony door open. Is it safe to leave the door open, or better we just boil in the apartment. This simple, versatile device allows us to leave the door locked ajar, so no little people can wonder out onto the balcony. The product itself is strong and durable (ours has been operates at least 20 times a day since purchase). The locking mechanism is complex enough to thwart young escapists, but simple and easy enough for grown ups. The self adhesive mounting is also great for us renters who can’t drill into window frames.

This works great. I am using it on inward opening patio doors and it still works perfectly, once I had figured out exactly where to put it by trial and error. The 3 stars are because the instructions are tiny. Small photos and even smaller text meant that I couldn't see them clearly. I had previously bought a 1st device and because of the poor instructions I ended up sticking the smaller piece too far away from the edge of the door frame, and that meant that the door wouldn't open properly as the device arm jammed against it. It was very difficult to take the device off again, the glue pads were destroyed in the process, and contrary to other reviews, there are no spare glue pads included in the pack. I ended up binning the 1st device and had to buy this 2nd device, which (having learned through my mistakes) I installed correctly and is now working perfectly. My suggestion is larger, clearer instructions, and also expand the instructions to include how to install the device on inward opening windows and doors.

Absolutely fantastic product. I bought these to stop my small dog (Chihuahua type) from pushing the windows open, and escaping. It also stops the windows blowing open, in windy conditions (a bonus for me, living in windy Lincolnshire), so no more sprained hinges. It opens enough to get a breeze through, but not enough for small pets or children to escape through. If you need to open the window further, just simply unclip them, by using the buttons on the small (frame side) part, then click back into place to use as the safety latch. Very easy to put together and install, which only takes about 30 seconds. Very strong adhesive, but also has screw holes, just in case. I've seen a review that says the instructions are too small, but there is a video of it, in the description, for you to see. Just click through the pictures and the video is at the end. Very, very happy with this product and can highly recommend it. I will be buying a couple more for the other windows in the room.

Nous avons acheté ce produit pour pouvoir ouvrir la fenêtre de notre cuisine sans risquer que notre chat fasse des acrobaties. Notre fenêtre s'ouvre à l'intérieur, nous avons simplement inversé le système (coller la grande bande sur la fenêtre de gauche et pas sur celle de droite comme indiqué sur le schéma) et il n'y a eu aucun soucis. Ça colle très bien et ça n'a pas bougé quand elle a essayé de l'enlever avec sa patte. On va en racheter d'autres pour les autres fenêtres de l'appartement, je conseille !

Hyper simple d'installation, l'adhésif est très puissant et colle instantanément, donc bien prendre son temps. Mes fenêtres s'ouvrent de l'intérieur, mais cela ne pose pas de problème, il suffit d'inverser par rapport au schéma. Un très bon produit qui évite de faire des trous quand on veut sécuriser ses fenêtres.

Usate su finestra ad apertura interna (nonostante l’indicazione sia per quelle ad apertura esterna). Funzionano perfettamente e sono a prova di gatti!

Es funktioniert auch bei unserem VELUX Dachflächenfenster. Die schraubenlose Montage war uns wichtig da wir zur Miete wohnen. Der Kleber hält so feste dass er vom Kind nicht zu lösen ist. Von Erwachsenen Hand ohne Rückstände per Hebelwirkung lösbar. Auch in Grau diskret und nicht auffällig. Behindert nicht die Verdunklung mit dem Rollo. Ermöglicht für uns Risiko loses Lüften im Kinderzimmer trotz darunter stehendem Hochbett. Der Kauf war die richtige Entscheidung.
