There's really not much to say about this adapter and honestly that's a compliment. I plugged it in and it just worked. No driver hunting no weird setup process no troubleshooting. The computer recognized it immediately and I was online within seconds. I've used enough networking gear over the years to appreciate when something does exactly what it's supposed to do without turning into a project. Connection has been stable and speeds have been what I'd expect from a Gigabit Ethernet adapter. No disconnects or other surprises. If you need Ethernet on a device that doesn't have it built in this is about as painless as it gets. Plug it in and move on with your day.

Love the speed of the delivery. Great value as many new computers do not come with all ports needed this works perfect when on a budget. Very versatile, no drivers to load, personal security isn't an issue since its a removable item and not chipped. Great job by manufacturer and Amazon.

Product arrived in a timely manner. It loaded the software on first installation and when I plugged in my Ethernet cable the internet kicked right in. Although it says, which I didn't see t first, that it works on windows 8.1 or higher I have windows 7 and its working perfectly. I saw that in the instructions and was afraid I would have to return it and almost didn't even try it but figured why not. Glad I did and again it is working perfectly.

Very hard to remove the cord with tab pressed in as you try to remove. I bought these to replace a broken one from another company. I have to change my cords often. It is actually a fight to get the cord out. Don't want to pull on it and break it but come on the snaps should not be permanent. I guess the were overly concerned with accidental pull outs but I really can not seem to get these out without a struggle. The usb side works as expected. It does the job which is why 4 stars. Just wish they were easier to separate from the cable when needed.

Improved speed on fire cube

Works great! Needed the security of an ethernet connection vs. WiFi and this dongle connected to my laptop with no downloads or configuring needed. Plug n' play. Does the job at a reasonable price, would recommend.

What can I say, I’m kinda impressed. I’m using an old TecLast f15-Plus laptop that has no LAN port, and where I am at the built in wireless is to far and kinda buggy. I’ve got Xfinity download speed up to 400 Mbps upload of 40 Mbps. But they kind of over provision to keep complaints down. I’m still in the testing faze with this thing. It’s now LANing out to a wireless access-point then hopping to router. Still getting 478.09 Mbps down and 42.11 Mbps up, so it easily keeps up with what I’m using it for. Pro: Works with Linux Mint Cinnamon 22.3 real well, Windows 11 comes in a close second. Con: None yet, time will tell.

This works great on my newer laptop that doesn’t come with a network port (seems to be the trend on newer laptops). It was plug and play on my Lenovo brand laptop (no need to install a driver or anything). I was worried this might be a bottleneck for the network speeds but I did a speed test and I was still getting the high speeds I was expecting (over 300mbps). Would recommend this, especially for the price!

Compré este adaptador para jugar smash online en Nintendo Switch. Ojo que si planeas usarlo para lo mismo, necesitas la version usb 3.0 (o es 3.1? no estoy seguro). Al momento de la compra, seleccioné el modelo "Talla 0". El usb 2.0 es mas barato, pero leyendo otros reviews, parece que esa version no sirve con el Switch. En cuando a la unidad, se ve siente de buena calidad. El cable esta algo corto. Cable de red se vende por separado. Para configurarlo con el Switch, solo conecta la unidad al dock del switch, y el cable de red a la unidad. Es todo, el switch se conecta usando la red alámbrica por defecto. Si quieres confirmar, en el dashboard, le das en configuración > red. Puedes ver el estado actual y probar la conexión. Ya en el Smash, si tengo uno que otra pelea con lag, pero no tan seguido. Si recomendaría invertir en el adaptador.
