I found a neat old wooden mantel clock case in the dumpster, with no works, so decided to bring it home and do something with it since it was otherwise undamaged. After looking far and wide for a movement that would fit the hole, I came up with this one on Amazon and figured it would do the trick. It arrived in a few days and I must say that it was a great choice for this case. The little metal tabs on the bezel makes it fit very well and secure, and it looks quite sharp now. I fashioned a little door for the rear of the case to allow battery replacement, and after a good coating of TruOil (gunstock varnish) this clock has a new lease on life and is the cat's meow. The movement is quiet and seems to work smoothly and is totally accurate so far. The gold accent trim is very sharp and while it's all of plastic construction it should do just fine for this purpose. I'm very proud of this clock now and I gifted it to my brother-in-law and he loves it. I would recommend this movement for anyone looking for a quality clock at a reasonable price. I may have to order another one or two for such projects in the future!

I've been in search for a mini quartz replacement for a clock I really like for more years than I wish to count. Finally I found this one. Hooray!! Fits and performs as described and expected. Thanks Amazon, you nailed it☺!

This is actually very very beautiful and accurate, but it is busy and difficult to see from a distance, but you cannot ask for anything more beautiful

So i was ready to dump out my pretty little crystal clock because the clockworks inset died. Low and behold I find this one...so pretty...inserted perfectly and fit perfectly...love the dial!

I purchased this clock insert for my mantle clock project. The size was right, I liked the face and gold ring, and I also liked the hands. But I wanted a pendulum in my clock design, so I had to remove the clock movement and replace it with a pendulum movement. In order to do that, I had to remove the lens. There are 2 tabs holding the lens in place -- one at 3 o'clock and one at 9 o'clock (see picture -- red circles). One tab was smaller than the other, so I took a screwdriver and tweaked it out of the slot that was holding it in place. That allowed me to pivot the lens and pull the large tab out of the other slot. Then, I removed the hands, and unsnapped the clock mechanism. The shaft of the pendulum movement is longer than the original, so I had to use a spacer to get the hands into the proper position -- no big deal. The video is the completed clock. The light-colored wood (the roses, oval and skirt) are inlaid basswood. Since the pendulum is just for effect, it doesn't swing at a 1 second interval. For that reason, I did not use a second hand.

Perfect fit and good quality for the price

Does not fit our older clock and the manufacturer has advised that our clock is over 10 years old and they do not make the part for it any longer. We were able to tie rubber bands around the base and it seems to be working now.

Have looked for the right size and eventually found this one. Fits perfectly. Am very satisfied. Thank you very much. With greetings from Germany.

Lovely dial face and perfect fit for my existing clock. However it is a little difficult to read in low light. Fantastic value for money. Takes a regular battery. Keeps good time.
