Douglas Adams was a genius writer and a much missed one
Superb volume of books very neatly arranged together. I really must recommend to younger readers as these books are timeless in their humour and thought-provoking intelligence.

Good books
After promising him a fiver when he's finished, my son finally started reading these. Yesterday he asked me if I knew the meaning of the universe and was astounded to discover I knew the answer. He's going as Arthur Dent for World Book Day. Definitely worth the money. I've probably saved hundreds of pounds in future marvel costumes.

Close but not quite there.
The collection that arrived is the correct edition (42nd anniversary), however it arrived without the slipcase (box).

Trilogy?
What an amazing trilogy or is it? I wanted to learn how to hitchhike because I heard it can be unsafe and your thumb has to be at the right angle. But this book did not tell me anything about my thumb or safety so I have not hitchiked yet. I wonder if my thumb will be at the right angle or left

"Deep Thought"
I read these as a young man, got it for my sons, and they loved it too. Multi-generational love for the author's humour. I don't know if I would enjoy these today, as an older man, but they certainly belong to literature that one must read; best when one is younger I can imagine. I am fascinated by Adams's endless creativity, and the way he tells a story. And if re-read today, perhaps there are multitudes of parallels and references to the new developments in AI.

God book for the kids si- fi and imagination
Good book to read especially if your Sci-Fi liking and this is very good book for kids at 12 to 15 years of age and smaller as well having some consideration very unic and then imagination of the kid is getting at a different level if you if they did this book so I will recommend this book for having the scientific name set and having something to get
