After checking reviews from various sites I decided to purchase this for my car. I received it rather quickly and everything arrive in good order. The instructions were a bit lacking and the camera is small but very effective.With the size of the camera it is hard not to touch the buttons on the side when trying to attach it to its holder. However once in place if you don't plan on removing it there is no worry.It does use Class 10 memory cards just fine. We however could only find a 16GB sized card and wanted to test this out for our 8 hour road trip. 16GB at 1080p almost covered the entire trip. We only lost about 2 hours after it rotated back to the beginning and over wrote the start of our trip. 720p lasted even longer for our trip back. I have since purchased a 32GB memory card that is working fine.You can adjust the length of recordings but default is 3 minutes long. I did not get the GPS attachment but did notice that when it was on after we turned off the car, I bumped the unit trying to disconnect it from its bracket. It thought the bump was an accident and saved that 3 minute section of video in a separate folder. So it doesn't take much to trigger that feature which I like.I also turned off the voice that welcomes you every time it powers on and off. You just need to go through all the settings while it is plugged into the car. While plugged into the USB it wants to either act as a high resolution webcam or a storage device for you to access the videos. You can manually delete the videos from Windows Explorer or have it erase them via the menu. As for it being a webcam, you need software that can recognize such a high resolution by default and it works very well.All in all I would recommend this unit. It works very well in daylight and in the dark. It doesn't have night vision but as long as your headlights are on it sees what you see.

The quality of the videos during the day is really good and still good during the night. In conditions of heavier rain, it struggles a bit to grasp the license plate nicely. It took me quite a while to set the camera up and to understand how to truly work it. For example, if you turn parking guard on when driving, it'll record everything but at a very high rate of speed. Driving for 20 minutes will result in a video clip of 15 seconds. So make sure you have it turned off. Nextly, make sure you turn off motion sensor, otherwise when you are driving, it won't record everything and you will have missing files. I put a class 10 sandisk 32gb microSD card in the camera and I haven't had an issue of lag etc. Nextly, make sure when mounting with suction cup, your surface is cleaned and waterless or no condensation, otherwise after a while, it may fall off. The GPS unit does take a while for it to find a satellite and for it to show your speed and coordinates. Also, I really like the long power cable and gps cable. It gave me plenty of cable so that I could mount the stuff. One thing I really do not like is the battery in the camera. It doesn't have much power and after using it for 5 minutes it turns off. I usually just have it plugged into my cigarette lighter and have it there. The viewing angle of the camera is quite good and better than a lot of other ones. Its microphone picks up talking quite well in the car, and decently from outside. If you play music, the camera will distort the music in playback and come out a little unclear.Edit: 1 year later and my camera has stopped working. Kind of disapointed in spending 100 dollars and having it only last for a year.

Does a great job and has great features for the money.I bought another product that was designed to mount on your mirror that cost $60 more and has no GPS. This one (for my wife's car) is compact, records great and includes the GPS and GSensor.I had trouble with the included software getting it to play with the GPS coordinates and mapping function, but downloaded "Registrator Viewer" (free third party software) and it works a treat! Likely woudl have given it 4.5 stars because of that, but Amazon won't let me do a half star, and it's not a big enough deal to lower to 4.Over all great device, and I may buy another to replace the cam I have in my car.

Works great during the day, but at night its not much worth having. The external GPS is very inconvenient. Should be internal just like a navigation unit. The 32gb limit is disappointing, not a deal breaker but I don't think its too much to expect 64gb support.Update, been using the camera everyday wroth it permanently mounted. The camera started malfunctioning today. It won't shut off properly. When shutting it off it keeps chuckling on and off. After about 20 times it stops which is probably due to not having a real battery. Of coarse now I'm past the 30 day return window, if amazon is going to keep selling junk then I think the return window needs to be at least 90 days.

After operating this system for a month plus, I am not impressed. The instruction sheet is a single " quick start" fold out that is almost impossible to read due to size, as well as non-contrasting color of image and text. Therefore there is nothing you can do but spend several hours trying not to hit the wrong keys or buttons. It also likes to stop recording even when in the looping mode. Do yourself a favor and buy something else. Easiest thing to remember, if you don't know the brand name, don't buy it.

Worked great for a while. Now the power adapter for the car randomly loses power or just doesnt turn on when I start the car. Following up with the manufacturer to see if I can get a replacement power adapter.

I bought a Shadow Cam last yr different model works just fine. This one is having light control Issues! On a bright clear day when you pass under a tree or something the screen fades to black. I have tried all the settings no luck. I am going to say this think before you buy from overseas once you do you are screwed. I'm not going to buy anything else from Amazon to much B.S and lies. I will go to where they have a complete understanding of the English language...
