To be honest, I had my doubts about this product when I saw someone promote it. I thought it might be flimsy and the attachment would not be sturdy enough to stand the test of time but I was very wrong and that's why I am here giving the VIVI MAO Gooseneck Cell Phone Holder, Universal 360 Flexible Phone Stand Lazy Bracket Mount a five star rating. The reason I purchased this was not to have bedside like some use it for but instead I wanted to start using to help me in my content creation efforts which you can see how I use it in the video evaluation for this product. The arm that comes with it is among the most flexible and sturdy that I have seen. Again, you might not think that just by looking at it but I have been amazed at just how great this product operates and see myself using this for many years to come. The mount that attaches to the phone that keeps it in place works excellent but I find that it is sometimes not the easiest to find the sweet spot to hold it in place on my iphone to avoid it accidentally hitting the volume buttons on one side or the lock botton on the other side of the phone because keep in mine that the mount hooks on horizontally, not verticaly. At least when it comes to an iphone. This doesn't make the product any less valueable, I just wanted to point that out and to make everyone aware of when it comes to configuration and placement of your phone on the mount. The best thing I would say which related to the mount/clamp is that it is about as universal as it gets. It will fit virtually any phone or device under a certain size for any brand out there. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a very sturdy and easy to install gooseneck cellphone holder who might be looking to shoot content like myself or keep it bedside to watch videos on their phone while in bed.

This is my 3rd time purchasing this holder. It's great because of its ability to hold my phone in virtually any position. The only issue is when it gets repositioned a lot it loses its strength and droops. My last one broke off at the base after repositioning it many times over two years. This one I plan to keep in one position as much as possible to prolong the life of it. The holder neck is thick and coated in a flexible material. The mounting clamp is made of a durable plastic that fits any edge up to about three inches thick. It tightens by turning the sleeve where the neck meets the clamp. My headboard is about 2 inches thick and it fits just fine. The phone grip is a spring-type clamp that holds any size phone very securely. I take this whenever I travel (that's why it got repositioned so many times) and I really like it. I find it a good value for the price.

This gooseneck cell phone holder was ordered for a different purpose than holding an phone. I wanted to make a camera lucida for drawing accurately from an image by looking through a reflection of the image. (Look it up if you're curious). I wanted a support long enough to be easily useful to hold the reflective surface. The "claws" at the end are strong although for my purposes I may need to add a bit of additional rubber to help grip the glass or prism used. The neck is quite strong and flexible though not overly so. It should support a fir bit of weight. The core of the neck is a solid metal that is easily bent to shape. I imagine with constant bending to reshape there could, over time, develop metal fatigue but for most users that probably won't be an issue. The clamp for mounting it to a table surface is different than any I have used before but it holds very well. This device should work for a number of things, including holding magnifying glass (with a little more rubber to grip, a mirror, or other items where you need a third hand. I definitely recommend this.

I got this for filming with my phone and so I can just have my phone propped up somewhere. This phone holder is such good quality and it holds my iphone 12 pro max perfectly! Overall, I think this was really worth the money and really helpful (especially if you have carpal tunnel or arthritis and can't always hold your phone!!) Pros: sturdy, good sized clamp for both table and phone, helps with carpal tunnel if you can't hold it or maybe if you're worried your child will drop your phone. Cons: may not work with phone cases that are too thick or with phone cases that have popsockets (the part that clamps to your phone is about 1.5cm deep!), may not stay at the height you want it if the gooseneck stretches too far and your phone is heavy (will cause it to sag) TLDR; I would buy this again, it's great quality and gets the job done. Just don't expect it to be a miracle worker and defy gravity.

I decent holder for a cell phone. I had some problems with it clamping onto my desk. It does work but it takes some time to get it just right.

This is an amazingly well designed & sturdy phone holder. It clips perfectly on a wheelchair, hospital bed, table & actually stays on & the phone stays in position too. It also can be easily readjusted. Everyone that sees it wants to know where I got it. Don't let the the low price dissuade you!!

This Stand Does What’s Advertised!!! I Have An IPhone 15 + and it holds it perfect !!! The only draw back is it bounces a lot when you hit record but if you hold the stand whilst hitting record it doesn’t shake! :)

A bit flimsy but for the price it is good. If you want to support heavy phones then it sort of arch down more than the setting.
