My go to clay. Fantastic. Performance.

I make Art Toys and this product was recommended. It’s a little firmer than other Sculpey or Fimo products. You have to twist it and roll it to make it pliable, BUT it’s worth it. It rarely cracks and sands well. I tried Sculpey 2. Easier to mold, but susceptible to a accidentally wrecking parts you ARENT focused on, and a lot more cracking.

This has to be an old block. I could not condition this. It was so hard and dry, even after adding a softener to it, I still could not work with it. I have used this many times with no issues in the past.

I use Premo clay for my clay projects, it’s easy to soften and use.

It is what it says it is. It came in good shape, not dried out or too old to use. After conditioning the clay, it worked the way I expected it to. While I would prefer to purchase in person where I can poke the brick and make sure it is OK, buying from Amazon worked this time when translucent was sold out locally.

One should know that Premo translucent does produce plaquing when baked, but it can still be excellent for some projects. I wouldn't use it for sculpting faces or flesh, but it's great for making faux stones that you want to look like they have inclusions. (Plaques are small cracks in the plastic that form where the clay was pressed together during creation of products.)

This clay was old. It was dry and unusable. The date on the package says it was manufactured in 2024 but it must have been stored somewhere very dry. It was very brittle.

Bin sehr enttäuscht,sehrr hart bröckelt man kann damit nicht arbeiten. Werde sicher nicht mehr bestellen!

This product is usually fantastic to work with. Soft and smooth. This particular block of clay was unworkable. It crumbled and wouldn't stay in shape. I couldn't use it on the clay roller. I added clay softener (same bland as the clay). It didn't help at all. Could the clay had been frozen? Very disappointed because I've bought this product a 100 times before so I didn't expect the clay to literally crumble into pieces. At this price, I expected a quality product.
