Is this a good grinder for a french press?

Just use the course setting for french press.. however mine is inconsistent with its grind size and will produce a fine grind mixed with it. I would grind slightly higher grams and dont use the fine grind that sticks to the top of the cup

Can I buy just the container separetely?

Ask the manufacturer. They are extremely helpful.

Will it work with plug adapter to 220? Or it will need a converter?

Yes 110 to 220 converter should work, but I wouldn't buy this unit, mine broke after trying to grind 8oz of beans. Sent it back for a refund
