PocketRocket Deluxe Stove

The MSR PocketRocket Deluxe Stove has been an absolute game-changer on my hiking trips! It's compact, lightweight, and boils water in no time—even in windy conditions, which is a lifesaver. The adjustable flame is super handy, whether I'm brewing a quick coffee or cooking up a meal on the trail. It’s become my go-to stove for all my outdoor adventures. Reliable and easy to use, I couldn’t be happier with the performance—it’s definitely worth every penny for anyone who loves hiking and camping like I do!

Overall a good stove, no issues with the built in lighter. It comes with a robust bag. One thing to note is that the three arms slope inwards when set up which can limit what pot you use. My Toaks 750ml fits fine, however my crusader mug does not. You will need a wind break of some sort too as the flame is quite exposed. In my opinion if you have the normal pocket rocket keep with that unless the built in lighter is a selling point.

Weighs nothing, well engineered, oodles of power. The igniter is handy and works well This stove is hard to fault. Highly recommended.

This is a great lightweight stove. Used a couple of times and it’s very well designed.

Vorig jaar heb ik hier een MSR Pocket Rocket Deluxe gekocht. Een geweldige brander, totdat de Piëzo-ontsteking ermee ophield. Hoewel het product nog onder de garantie valt, is de afhandeling door verkoper Outdoor Food ronduit frustrerend. Mijn ervaring: Trage reactie: Pas na weken wachten kreeg ik eindelijk een eerste reactie op mijn mail. Loze beloftes: Ze gaven aan dat het vuurtje teruggestuurd kon worden naar de fabrikant voor nazicht. Radiostilte: Zodra ik bevestigde dat ik van dit aanbod gebruik wilde maken, werd het doodstil. Geen contact mogelijk: Ik heb inmiddels meerdere herinneringen gestuurd met de vraag hoe en waarheen ik het product moet opsturen, maar ik krijg totaal geen gehoor meer. Het lijkt erop dat deze verkoper wel graag verkoopt, maar niet thuis geeft als er daadwerkelijk service verleend moet worden. Bespaar jezelf de irritatie en koop je kampeerspullen bij een partij die wél reageert op garantieaanvragen.

Super light weight and boils very fast. We compared it to the cheaper $20 version (I cant recall the brand but its here on amazon) and this thing blows it out of the water. We were at high elevation with mist, wind, and light rain, and this thing boiled water fast. It has far more burners than the cheaper brands, and so far the igniter has not been an issue. It folds down to almost nothing and fits nicely inside our cook pot. Our pot is a bit larger than the stove itself, so we picked up a fuel can stabilizer and everything was stable. We have had zero issues with stability or functionality. Its worth the money knowing that your equipment will not fail on the trail. For redundancy's sake, bring a mini bicycle just in case (we didnt need it)

Der MSR PocketRocket ist einfach fantastisch! Klein, leicht und unglaublich leistungsstark – perfekt für Outdoor-Abenteuer. Er bringt Wasser in kürzester Zeit zum Kochen und lässt sich super präzise regulieren, was beim Kochen unterwegs ein großer Pluspunkt ist. Die Handhabung ist kinderleicht, und er nimmt im Rucksack kaum Platz weg. Ein zuverlässiger Begleiter, auf den ich mich in jeder Situation verlassen kann!

Got to use this on my fall portaging trip to Algonquin park last week and I couldn't be happier. All the stuff I love about this little stove: * Light and super compact so it fits right inside my GSI cooking set * Very easy to set up and operate * It seems to resist wind quite well (mostly qualitative observation) * Piezo igniter works very well and is super convenient * Amazing burner - looks and sounds very cool, and seems to provide very good heat distribution while at it * Wide base to support pot I was not able to find any drawbacks to this stove as of yet. I strongly recommend this to anyone backpacking/portaging lightly and looking for a good stove to add to their gear-set.
