What is the difference between this set and gp6102a set? i'm looking to purchase the most current set.

The latest version of the Formula Guide is model GP1601A and the latest model of the Color Bridge set is GP6102A. The Formula Guide has all of the Pantone solid or spot colors printed on coated and uncoated stock. The Formula Guide includes the mixing formula for each color. The Color Bridge has the same Pantone solid or spot colors as the Formula Guide and these are located on the left hand side of each page. Next to these Pantone colors on the right hand side of each page are the closest process match and the CMYK screen tint percentages. This is helpful if you are using a 4-color printer. The Color Bridge also includes the RGB and HTML values for solid colors. This enables viewing consistency across different monitors and web pages. - Pantone

I started designing and having enamel pins made. the manufacturer is in china. is this the best pantone color guide for enamel pins??

This was the kind to buy via other pin makers posts. The other factor was trying to get a current or close to current year version. If you buy an older version the information may not match up/ be up to date anymore. I checked other pin makers posts to see what they said heathery used. I believe they talked about the coated formula guide.

This item is a great, needed tool for my work. As others have said, the paper is thinner than in the past but I don't find that thinner paper affects accuracy of the colours. Just need to be a bit more careful in how I handle it. The shipping was quick. Thank you very much.

Ich habe den Farbfächer für digitale Arbeit gekauft, da ich gerade bei der Farbwahl mal Bildschirmpause machen wollte. Auf der Herstellerseite können Farbcodes (bspw. Pantone zu Hexadezimal) übersetzt werden. Leider stimmt das Farbbild zwischen Print und Screen nicht exact überein und folglich habe ich "nur" ungefähre Anhaltspunkte, über den Farbfächer. Das wär so auch oke, allerdings ist mir das Produkt dann zu teuer. Zugegeben, das hätte ich auch vor dem Kauf herausfinden können, daher möchte ich meinje Problematik nicht kritisch bewerten. Schön fände ich aber einen (dezenten) weißen und schwarzen Balken o. Ä. auf den Farben, um Kontraste direkt beurteilen zu können.

Bad quality of printed colours with dots..

.. in the print - making it very difficult to distinguish the colour and use it for the colour specifications I had bought it for. Tried to contact the shop about it. No answer. I would buy from elsewhere!
