Spigen Rugged Armor Designed for Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G Case (2020) - Matte Black

Got this case after experiencing 3 case failures with a old name brand case. The old name brand case caused the back of my phone to crack when dropped as it was so heavy. This case fit my phone perfectly, looks good and is a lot lighter and slimmer than my old one. Has slightly raised edges around the camera and screen. Feels good in hand, and has a good grip. It's durable and is a good all around case. Really like this case.

So as I do not have my Note 20 Ultra yet I can't review with the case on the phone with durability testing but I can say the case is sleek and very understated. The feel is smooth but with a rigid phone inside it will most certainly offer grip and some traction to prevent drops which was not the case with my Neo Hybrid on my Note 10+. The cut outs are precise without any rough edges or extra material to cut away which you do find on cheaper less robust products. The carbon fiber accents are a really nice touch as well. Update: I've had my phone for a few days now and the case stands up to my review. Grip is fascinated by the ribbing on the sides and the matte finish is great. The raised edge to the camera section is excellent and keeps the camera lens of table surfaces and has a lip to afford some protection against damage but I'd suggest a tempered glass protector to be safe in this area. Overall a great purchase. And yes, dropped my phone tripping over the dog and phone is fine. It probably took a 4 for drop to its side and no damage.

was a little surprised when i got this. i thought it would be rugged-like but it is a soft malleable rubbery material. doesnt cover the edges completely. i will definitely test it.

I first bought this case for my Note 9 a couple years ago and was extremely pleased with it. This case has proven equally satisfying for my Note 20 Ultra. I am relatively easy on my phones, so I was mainly looking for something that would prevent the case from getting scratched or dinged up over the life of the phone. This case does that job admirably, and adds hardly any bulk to the phone. It has a raised lip around the camera lenses, and a raised lip at both the top and bottom of the screen. Whether you set it down face-up or face-down, the phone is protected, as long as it is on a flat surface of course. The same goes for accidental drops. As long as it doesn't land on the edge of something, or gravel, this case will most likely prevent the phone from receiving any damage. The case finish is slightly (and I mean VERY slightly) textured, so as to give a secure grip, but not so rough as to snag on a pocket. The buttons have a very positive feel, and don't require any extra effort to press. The access ports on the bottom do not in any way impede plugging in a charging cable or removing/inserting the S-Pen. Overall, this is the best minimalist case I have ever owned, and would purchase again, no question.

A perfectly basic case. Can not go wrong with this one. Protects the sides and bottom as expected. Use a plastic cover on the glass if you want to protect that as well.
