RENAISSER Raphael 520 Stylus for Surface, Designed in Houston, Made in Taiwan, 4096 Pressure Sensitivity, Compatible with New Surface Pro 8 & Pro 7/Laptop Studio/Go 3, Rechargeable

At about a third of a Microsoft Surface Pen, this sounded like a great value for money. Once I received it and started using to take notes and use on whiteboard application during online classes that I teach, it felt like a steal! In the first 3 days of usage, I found it a great product. Very good grip, feel, sheerness & responsive. Sticks to the device pretty tightly. Will update this review with further learnings maybe after a month of usage. For now - this is a great product! Go for it!! Update- after about a month and half of usage, I am still as satisfied with the perf of Renaisser as I was on Day1. Works well. Long battery life. Responsive

I have a Surface Pro 6 tab & have been looking for a rechargeable, lightweight pen stylus for drawing. And also I am fully not satisfied with my surface 4096 pen. I have been using pen tablet monitors (Wacom & Huon) for years. When compared with them the Surface pen little disappointed me. Now I found Renaisser Raphael 520 Pen by Youtube review and purchased. It is really great pen. Now I feel my Surface pro tab like a Cintiq pen tablet monitor. Raphael 520 Pen feels as natural as pen on paper. Pressure strokes are very well. As an illustrator, most of the time I use a brush and eraser. It is good two buttons one is an eraser. I like so much for the pressure sensitivity, lightweight, rechargeable, and low price. It's honestly just a better pen than the original Surface pen I have. Battery life not verified yet.

A really great touch-pen! The product quality, pricing and accuracy is remarkable! The battery lasts for days and the design is very ergonomic. Highly recommended! The only request I have for Renaisser is to either provide a couple more of the soft tips, or allow for their purchase online (you get one soft tip and two hard tips in the package, presently).

Really good active pen. It is not heavy, just the weight and size of a normal Parker pen. Easy to use. Also, all the functions of Windows Ink work flawlessly. No compatibility issue faced. Took a good decision by not purchasing the Dell Active Pen that costs 4 times the price of this pen. USB charging is a boon especially when many active pens rely on AAAA battery which is a bit expensive and also have availability issue. You also get 3 additional replacement tips, which was a concern for me before buying the product.

The Product is awesome, with smooth stokes and the pressure sensors works just wonderfully. The pen works even wonderfully without a jittery even through the tampered glass I have installed on my surface. what's more wonderful, you don't have to switch off the pen, it automatically off when idle. the batter life of the pen is also too good. The specifications as stated are very true, with a awesome grip and sleek design.

sad i unfortunately have to return the item, the pen tips are missing and the battery is defective for the pen i got, though renaisser products work great

Purchased this because the Surface Pen that came with my Surface had damaged tips. When I looked around for tips, I found this pen which was being sold for the same price as just the tips for the Surface Pen. This pen also came with couple of extra tips. Has a micro-B USB charger port at the other end. Feels sturdy and good quality. My daughter who uses it to sketch on Surface said that it is easier to hold and therefore easier to write and draw. She has a smallish hand so this may be a negative for people who prefer thick pens and pencils. We are happy with the product and so far it is doing fine.

First impressions ... Absolutely beautiful. I switched on and the pen for ready to use. Found this to be as accurate if not more than the original pen. Light weight. Feels premium when you hold it. Taking away one point for not giving the eraser at the back. Got 3 tips extra. Happy for now. Will revert only if there is an adverse experience later on.

It's good. I've had a similar pen from a competitor before, this one seems easier to write with and magnetically clips to the side of my Surface Pro 7 which is a small but nice addition. It seems a little cheaply made - but that's why it's cheaper than a premium model. It does everything I want accurately including shading. I haven't noticed any lag and have been happy with the accuracy of the pen. I haven't had to charge it yet and I've had it for about a week and used it to draw picture with my children over the weekend so the battery life is pretty good. Perfect for anyone looking to take notes or make sketches on their surface. Update: product lasted exactly 2 years and then the battery died. I used it approximately twice a week in thatt time and aside from the occasional de-sync where it would randomly write at the opposite side of the screen it was a very good product

I am using with Surface Pro 7 and it works really well. Does not have to charge frequently. (I have not charged it till now) Delivery was also as per time mentioned as per Amazon app only. Tip is good and tilt function works It came with new box.. older one came with box named Rena Pen so I was also suspicious first but it work fine so should be genuine only.

I have been looking for a replacement stylus for my Acer switch 5 for a long time. After doing a lot of research, I decided to purchase this pen and it was definitely a great investment! It works better than the original stylus that came with my laptop. This stylus is very smooth with great precision. It is very sensitive, yet, palm rejection is excellent. I use it for note taking with Onenote and I love how it also has side button, which acts as an eraser - makes it very easy to erase mistakes. It is also rechargeable and lasts a long time on one charge. No need to purchase batteries anymore. Excellent quality and highly recommend!

The pen is really great. It works well, it's sleek, it's intuitive. I really like it. That being said, Microsoft has a lot of work to do. My laptop uses MPP version 1.51 so I don't get all the "features" of this pen so that might be it. But palm rejection has a ton of improvement to do. I tried apple's pen stuff because a friend let me use it, and it's really, really nice. Palm rejection always works, it's intuitive, it works, it's nice. It's a replacement. This is not a replacement. Palm rejection doesn't work 50% of the time and when it does work it's either slower or just weird. I hope Microsoft works on making something that can replace apple's system. It's already a good system because of cost and how all of the pens are "compatible" with all laptops, but it's not a replacement to apple's system and not a replacement to pen and paper.
